I was just saying, the traditions of men, whether Christian or Jewish or whatever, can at best be shallow reflections of the glory of God that is seen through the revelation of the Spirit- and that was not intended in anyway to be a diss to your many interesting and edifying insights into where these traditions occasionally intersect on some level with the scriptures. It was just a point of context for the whole conversation, because while traditions can provide some insights, the Spirit of God teaches the scriptures and can do so even when historical connections are broken by time. In my estimation, the scholarship of men, while useful, is insufficient to capture the core truths that arise quite simply out of who Jesus is.

The temple design was, imo, designed by God through the prophet David, an amplification of the tent of meeting design given by God through Moses and reflects very clearly the aspects of the temple of God depicted in John's revelation.

A golden altar of incense before the throne in the earthly temple- An altar before the throne from which the incense of the prayers of the saints arises in Revelation.

The wings of the seraphim beside the mercy seat behind the veil in the earthlty holy of holies- the seraphim crying holy holy holy around the throne(our mercy seat) of Christ within the veil of heaven.... and so on, may examples.

The rending of the temple veil in the moment of Christ's death also shows the relationship between the message of the temple design(veil rent, pillars broken- no more glory within the earthly temple)

That earthly veil has been rent, and no longer hides any mystery behind it.

The writer of Hebrews aludes to this in several places, most notably in chapter 10 (the veil and the sacrifices)and chapter 12(the heavenly temple).
