I am a CNC machinist so I get the opportunity to read a bit while the machine does the work.  Recently I have been drawn(dragged) back to Jesus Christ.  I walked away in such a way that I still continued to work on my spirituality, remained theist, and worked on spirituality from any source that seemed to give good results.  I'm guessing I had to experience something in particular.  It was an age of experiencing that I am not ashamed of.

After returning to my roots, I am able to see things that I could not see without my season of experiment. 

What brought me back?  The name that is above every name, Jesus Christ.  I guess I really did not understand that so I had to get a short lesson...............about a three year lesson.

I neglected the book of Revelation as a total mystery all of my life.  I am still cynical when people quote it.  Here at tentmaker I received some good advice on the book.  Thank you all too!

I am working through J. PRESTON EBY's series on Revelation.  J. PRESTON EBY meets my criteria for an author on Bible topics.  The one big criteria is the restitution of all things.  If it is not there I fall off pretty quick.

The above link is the most recent part.  I get the mailing, so I was reading it as a hard copy while at work yesterday.  Finished it in it's entirety.  The things that are addressed in Part 147 were right on time for me, and things that I am working on in my personal spiritual life.  I like how J. PRESTON EBY expounds on the whole Bible using the book of Revelation as the base text.  I can't do the extensive research that he has done, so I really appreciate him sharing his wealth of experience in The Faith.

  Ha! ed ,  God bless your heart !  finding it awesome how much you have sprung forth from the light this time around !    Thrilled  that we are all learning somthing new every DAY ! as the Spirit leads us ,  I also am learning new things and picking up on many  scriptures that are zapping  like a Light bulb  flipping on  , that was ''off ''    for many  years and years ..

Glad to hear Preston Eby  calls  Revelation  , the base  text 
  I have always called it the Key of  David where the tender  mercies of David [   though  revealing of Christ ]   is  shown   like a key that unlocks many mysteries  of the  Book of death and life


for me at this time is become    double edged  and  the WORD speaks   to both  the living and dead    as well as the carnal and  the  spiritual    and the good and evil   ,   
we just must learn  /discern    to whom the WORD /SWORD of the Spirit is speaking to somthing ''hidden in our own hearts that must be revealed      ,   we are all made of His design and For His glory    also to  trust HIM totally   by faith 

so we can  deal with it and learn from it and mostly GROW IN  TRUTH AND GRACE   ,  BY THE LOVE OF GOD for us though Jesus Christ      , the Light is much brighter these days as we  walk in the light  ,

and  have no desire to  go back   nor hide in that old darkness   and wilderness   anylonger

Thank you for this post and a great testimony.  I'm very interested in J. Preston Eby's series on Revelation since I, like you, have neglected the book as a total mystery my whole life.  I just printed out part 1 from his website and plan to get started on it this evening.

Glad you are happy with your return.   We can share among each other about many things, BUT... the scripture says correctly that it is THE SPIRIT {in you} that wil lead you and teach you all things about Christ, not some pastor or writer.
Scripture also says we are to follow THE SPIRIT, witnessed by and in Jesus' life and how he remained peaceful, kind, and forgiving in all his torment without being hateful or angry or what have you.   Our emotions are spiritual taste buds and when we are tempted by them, if we understand what results {fruit} they will bring forth if we follow or act on them, we can tell what spirit they belong to.   Will those feelings and thoughts we sometimes have cause pain and sorrow and unforgiveness on and toward someone, or will they allow the other person to be unhurt and suffer no pain and physical harm by OUR works.?

Hi.   The spirit that gives life is what we are to minister.  The whole bible can be understood this way by the faith and believing of Jesus Christ as the saviour of all men.  If one does not yet believe that it is for all, bone of our bone as it were, then they may not be able to "see" the spirit of life yet.  By this I mean that if they still think some will be physically slain, maimed, hurt, and so on by God, then they are not teaching only the spirit of LIFE and how LIFE accomplishes it's purpose in even creating anything.  The purpose is to give life to the dead to the point that it is alive forever and is life only in nature and will and mind and deed.

Luk 17:32  Remember Lot's wife.
Luk 17:33  Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
Luk 17:34  I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

How does this fit the ministry of life only, when life is doing it.  What is taken away is the OLD MAN mind and nature, replaced in us by the Spiritual divine nature of God.  But, the old man has to be bound FIRST.  Why?  Because it is going to take place in our physical body right here in this world on this planet and we are still going to eat, reproduce if desires, and breathe, etc.   We overcome where the resistance is, we are not going to run away without EACH PERSON over all the time of the universe being perfected or completed in this manner, IN THEIR OWN BODY.   The body is what the SON of LIFE IS.  The father in those bodies is ETERNAL LIFE.   God is spirit and holy and life.   Life is holy, always being and doing life supporting and giving things always and exclusively.  It is destroying the death and dead dust we are formed of, the elements of the physical world.

If we lose our carnally motivated and driven life, not looking back at the worldliness and desiring it still, we shall find eternal life.

2Ch_34:2  And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David  (GOD) his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left.
Pro_4:27  Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

Joe 2:1  Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
Joe 2:2  A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

This army is the attributes of the divine nature and that day is only dark for the carnal mind and nature and is not seen by the attributes of that nature and mind.    Also, the angels that are mentioned in Matt. 13 as coming to divide the tares from the wheat are the spiritual attributes of the nature or spirit of God.
This is "the war in heaven", heaven being OUR SPIRIT.

The devil that is cast to the earth is a restoration of the truth as to what the devil and where the devil comes from and is formed from.  THE EARTH.  The resistance to God in us is the unfinished parts of man which are "of the earth".  As we are "perfected\matured\finished" the devil {carnality attributes and the mind formed of them} is bound.

The binding is pictured in Revelation as the great CHAIN some angel has to bind the devil and put him in the pit, or "under foot".

This is when we are being matured, no matter who it is or when.  It is not a certain millenial time span.   The pit the devil is put in is the seat of our appetites, the belly in picture.  The SPIRIT or "angel' of our physical belly is HUNGER TO SELF.  A parable of where all these evil machines and war causing desires come from, the dark belly or spirit of SIN IN MAN, appetite or lust to self\man\flesh.  They are to be kept BOUND IN THE PIT or in the body.

The beast we now live in is "democracy", a form of the best carnal double minded man can do, which is not a real democracy.

The beast is pictured as the eight king or kingdom.  In other words, no more horns above the rest of the body of the beast, above the kingdom.  Of course, it is very very corrupt and we do not have a real democracy.   We vote and then the "leaders" do whatever they want not asking us about it, doing all kinds of things we did not vote on or for.

Democracy of some form, which is not a very good form reall, just a good idea FOR and OF NATURAL MAN, is the government or beast that is working it's work all over the world now.  Rebellion and war and killing and so on, ostensibly in the name of "desiring democracy.  But that democracy is still the governing of a few over many to the befit financially etc. of the very FEW.  That is the last time "beast" government that goes into the fire ALIVE or while it is still in existence in the world.   Since it goes in alive, it can not be one man for this beast {man's carnal system} is dethroned while it is still alive... replaced by Christ Jesus' dominion in the same place where the governments of natural man got their motivations, within man.  That man will now be Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 2 tells us that it is the SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING of the mouth\words of Jesus Christ and the brightness {light of the world light} of HIS COMING. Iee. if it is happening, he is coming to give his reward to all.  That reward is... to do what they should be doing so they can have the blessing of God written in the book that have never yet been in full accomplishment.  Once they are here in full, they will never leave and will be here forever.  The sufferings of Christ in mankind, all who lived before that time, will have accomplished it for those who live thereafter.  We will also be those who suffered "with Christ in us" so that those who are born after this is fulfilled will not have to suffer of many of those things we did.

Hi.  In regard to revelation, the revelation of Jesus Christ is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD GIVEN TO US.  It is not about accusation.  It is about fact.  Fact about evil or not about God, and fact about God, the truth of WHO God really is.     When he is not in the world, the light of the world is NOT IN MAN.

Eph_2:2  Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

So, we are told in the above verse that WE experienced the prince of the power of the air and that power is what works **IN** the **CHILDREN** of disobedience.   We are told we were of the same.    So, let us examine ourselves in and of ourselves, honestly.   As Christians, have we or do we often or some times "disobey" or not do what Jesus said to do, and I am speaking about when we know what he wanted but sometimes we may react in a reflex manner and do something he said was not of him, even if we "fix" it later.

I do not think there would be many who really know what Jesus witnessed and said, clearly, that would not admit to themselves that they have done that and perhaps still might do it again.    So... that does mean that this "prince of the power of the air STILL exists with us, in us, does it not.  Because, this "prince" is said to be the cause of our disobedience.

Who\what is the prince of the power of the air.  First, this "prince" ONLY EXISTS because of the "air", the source of his\it's power.  Without air the prince, the disobedience, and death, DOES NOT EXIST.  So, what does man need all the time as a man in order to exist.l  THE AIR WE BREATH.  But not only is it man, it is the LAW OF SIN IN OUR MEMBERS, the lusts of the flesh that are stated very clearly to be enmity and contrary to the desires {lust} of God, the Spirit that is Holy.

It is ONLY in and of the world that "sin" or disobedience exists, in the sense that disobedience means things that are not done by God.   For God is not disobedient to God.

Paul states quite clearly that what makes him do what Jesus does not do in his flesh is.. the law of sin, the lusts of the flesh, in his OWN FLESH.  That is the prince of the power of the air, the power of the spirit of the world that sometimes causes evil results upon people, and sometimes they are done BY People.

This is the PRINCE of "this world" that Jesus said was going to come upon him.  The work of that prince was to flog, reject, and finally kill Jesus.  In doing so we see that it is sin, being done by man from within man over man, that causes Jesus to be crucified.

Now, in Hebrews 6 we are told that we can crucify Jesus all over again, {Spiritually} within us if we willingly and purposefully disobey {betray} Jesus.  I want us to also understand that ONLY A DISCIPLE, only a taught believer, can really disobey Jesus.  Only those who really know what they are doing in disobeying Jesus, can be said to really be betraying him with understanding they are doing so.

My  :2c:. The prince of the power of the air, is Satan, and the children of disobedience it is referring to there, are the natural Jews who rejected the PERSON of the Messiah, the Spirit Seed Son of God. By rejecting the SPIRIT of the WORD made flesh/celestial, it enabled them to also reject the flesh man Jesus. They, IN THEIR HEART, had already rejected the Spirit of God long ago and so in order to give them another chance, He appeared before them clothed in flesh, since they wanted only what they could see, feel, and touch with their hands, ie. respect of persons, preferring the flesh to the Spirit, as was done in the garden.

Now the real fly in the ointment came when it was revealed that the true Jews/concision were now those that allowed Him to BEGIN the circumcision of their hearts, circumcising the flesh off His Spirit in them, which is what allows us to WALK IN THE SPIRIT, as HE is in the Spirit.

So then it became possible for Jews after the flesh to be gentiles, and for gentiles after the flesh, to be Jews/of the concision. Once AGAIN, pointing to the fact that you CANNOT judge according to what you can SEE, but must have the Spirit of God to judge things RIGHTEOUSLY, which is the only way it adds to the stature of the full measure of Christ in you.

The air that gives it it's power, is the "air" that is scented with ether, the gas that is given off from DECOMPOSITION of flesh, =  the smell of death. The unclean thing that he is, is a scavenger, ie. the Lord of the flies, who only consumes dead things, which is why he was only given DUST to eat. Dust thou art and to the dust thou shalt return, so Satan can eat all of your flesh all of his days (in you), = only as long as he is needed to consume flesh.

The problem comes, when people want to stay at the party (dust realm) too long, and he not only gets flesh to eat, but consumes the soul as well (= death of the body, SEPARATION of soul and spirit = death). God's Spirit will not tarry with man forever. Deut. 5 He says that He will go unto His place until they consider their offense. What is our offense? That our ways are not His ways, and His ways are only obtainable FULLY, if HE consumes our soul = mind, will, emotions, and desires.

The unclean spirit goes out of a man, but he comes back and when he finds that the house is swept BUT NOT GARNISHED (with a new HUSBAND for the soul), he comes back in with 7 more (fullness of darkness = death to flesh AND soul) and the state of that person is worse than at the first.

It is ONLY in and of the world that "sin" or disobedience exists, in the sense that disobedience means things that are not done by God.   For God is not disobedient to God.

I disagree. We have all betrayed Him. The 30 fold realm betrays Him right off the bat by refusing to acknowledge His Spirit and join themselves to it. The motive of the heart of man is nothing but betrayal to the Spirit of God. Judas betrays for 30 pieces of silver (outer court realm) and Judah is the praise that betrays, ie. praise Him with our lips but our heart is far from Him.

Many Christians do disobey Jesus but are not really aware that what they are doing is not of the way, truth, and life of Jesus because they do not yet clearly see Jesus.  Moses does not give us manna from heaven, it is manna of the spirit of the world.  If we do not see this or come to understand this, we will still be doing some things of scripture O.T. that are of the world only and think they are of Jesus and God also.

Jesus said that Moses gave them manna in the desert/dust, and that was/is a good thing, it gives us the manna needed to kill the flesh, but the SPIRIT SEED that was in the manna that came down from heaven, is CHRIST THE RISEN LORD. We must not despise the one and hold to the other, for both are needed to complete the work.

The Word says let everything that has breath, praise the Lord. The whole of creation has the breath of His Spirit in it, He poured Himself into it to create it. All of it sings like the finest symphony in conjunction with each piece, but we can't hear it because the flesh we're in dulls the hearing, making it give off a dead sound, like the sound of a pillow put in a drum/our heart.

Scientists have just discovered in recent years that sounds that at a much higher frequency than we are able to hear, like the sounds of a cricket's rubbing it's legs together, actually sound like a symphony. In fact, they just discovered, by applying the numerical values to the letters of the Word, and then correlating them to notes, the Word itself "makes" music.

But back to Moses. Moses gave us a bill of divorcement and that divorce is still very much in effect today. The words there literally mean, "hardness of heart" which runs into a meaning of, "dull of hearing". So what Jesus was speaking in the Spirit understanding was, yes, because of the hardness of your heart, that has made you dull of hearing, Moses/the letter, will allow you to divorce your body/soul. The separation of the soul and Spirit = death to the body.

The only answer to nullify that divorce, THAT OBVIOUSLY IS STILL IN EFFECT, is to come into COMPLETE union with the Spirit of God, which is what we are being offered in this hour. My  :2c:  Blessings....

Hi Cardinal.  Moses is a faithful man, but the faithful man can not either go into or lead others into the condition of  dwelling in and as the Spirit of God.

God buries that faithful man we all must first be, and there will be no corpse and no grave.  But there will also be "no Moses".  There will be Jesus Christ, and that is why no grave.   If Moses does not give us the manna from heaven, but does give manna from the earthy sky, as it were, then there is no life eternal in that manna or ways or belief etc.   Only Jesus is the true and faithful witness and he changes some of Moses' teachings and beliefs.  For instance, without denigrating Moses at all, {he was an obedient CHILD}, Moses lived, fought, and killed and accepted killing of men etc. as being "good" or "godly". But using those methods also brought those methods upon them many many times through history, receiving upon themselves their OWN WAYS.

God has to "slay and bury" those kind of carnal beliefs a carnally motivated believer has, including believing that God also is or does good, but believes it is okay to do evil to some people at some time as a godly person because that other person is evil. But doing harm or killing other people and things is EVIL at the very least to the one killed and harmed.   As Christians if we believe that we can do evil or harm to others, especially in the name of Jesus simply because Moses and the prophets did it, we are open to having the same end come upon us sometime in our existence in the world.

The death that GOD desires is the death of spiritually childish ways in us, by us becoming a spiritually obedient loving adult.

Every child perishes to maturity even thought the same person was once the child and is now the adult, but BOTH in their times.

I can not be like God if I can not do things that God does when they are evil things, things and ways and thoughts and actions that Jesus said were not HIS.

So, It is to every person as they believe and no one can really change the mind of another when they sincerely faithfully believe something. 

Thou shalt not Kill.  Is that God's SPIRIT identity, or not.   Recall.  At AI Israel, all Israelites, lost a battle because they had a Babylonian garment etc. among them as a treasure and some Babylonian "treasures".

 :cloud9: Once again, we come to an impasse. The way I see it, God is the ONLY one who can kill and it not be murder, because He is the ONLY one who can raise them back to life again.

Death is as simple as Him breathing in (the spirit returns to the One who gave it), and life as simple as Him breathing out.

We, on the other hand, independently cannot do it without judgment coming back on us, even to the heart motive being the same as hate. Hate is the root, murder is the fruit, just as rebellion is the root, witchcraft is the fruit.

When they (the body in outer court realm) see us (the priesthood/inner court realm) hate our brother in our heart, they go out and murder theirs. So if we KILL (including with the letter), we had better be able to also raise them up, or the same judgment we mete out will be meted out to us. My  :2c:....Blessings....

Hi Cardinal.  Yes, I understand your position and sincere faithful belief.  It is faithful in you, because that is why you keep on conversing with me and yet do not agree with one of the main lynchpin points about God, either way.

God is the spirit of life, period.  We are all born BY and OF life that was in existence before the creation was.  Life is who God is.  Eternal life.  Life can not be life it "it" can die or have an end or existence.   I mean, if the Spirit of life {god} died, then it was not "LIFE ONLY".   The idea that we can do hurtful, harmful, terrible destructive things to man and justify it by saying well in the end they live, we are off our heart and mind of Christ.

What life kills is death.  Nothingness.  Immaturity\ignorance etc.

God is Holy.  God is spirit.   Life is the Holy Spirit, always holy and no work of death ever done by life.  But we have that life, and we use it in captivity to our immaturity to satisfy our own physically driven lusts at various times, killing in way and rape and murder and so on.  To think God does this also and moire, that is is a HOLY WORK of HOLY GOD, then we are undone and are not in the garden, not able to get past the fiery sword and two cherubim that keep the WAY OF THE TREE OF LIFE.  We have to have that WAY of the tree of LIFE, Jesus, in us to get into the paradise spiritually in this world.  Do not have it, can not pass into it yet because we would have "leaven" that leavens the whole lump.  {a lie about god, in ignorance of course, no one believes something untrue on purpose if they are sincere}.

Life is the father of all living.  Life is alive and Spirit without needing a body in order to live or be alive.  We have life, {CHRIST} in captivity to our own immature childish as yet unfinished existence as the body, and we spiritually kill and slay the witness of that life that is in us by our deeds.  This is the spiritual crucifying of Jesus the son of God that we do by living and using life in us to enable us to do evil, rape, murder, lie, cheat, steal, take advantage of others, be selfish, etc.

WE, when we say we are Christians {I speak collectively} and do evil hurtful things and denigrate and are prejudiced against others, etc, we are a lie about what Christ likeness really is.   When we say LIFE kills itself we are not very wise, spiritually.

Life is captive to us as children and when we are grown up in maturity as Jesus Christ we will then be given the dominion over the earth, as many many members.  We need to be judged or taught BY GOD personally, each of us, FIRST.  This is what is beginning to be done already.  Like a thief in the night, come to steal our night away from us and all the things of darkness we do in that night, and wake us up.

God is Spirit.  God is Holy.  God is the Holy Spirit, period.   All the attributes of life are also the total attributes of LOVE.  Life is love.

Eternal life is the Holy Spirit.
Every one that life is in and becomes the father in them in their maturity, is the SON born of God that with the Father, eternal life, IN HIM as who that son is, love and or eternal life also.  Eternal life can never be witnessed by any deed, motive, desire, belief that believes eternal life causes life to end in something.
Death does.   We read in Hebrews 2:14 that it is the devil that does the work of death.
