I try to listen with an un-bias heart & open spiritual ears to different arguments & I see some people will pull specific passages from these chapters to support their belief in the doctrine of salvation for some.

With prayer I opened up to these scriptures and read & at first my pre-exposure to hell teachings had me seeing it everywhere! Only some will make it, then, lo & behold, as I read, re-read, analyzed, put into context each scripture I only find more support that our fate is not up to us! Because God had a plan from the beginning! I'm not the best with words, I don't have big words to use like many of you do, but this is what I see of God plans (which I cannot claim to fully understand):

He made Adam & Eve knowledgeable but innocent, a creation, MEANT TO become perfect through a process. Some may argue, Adam & Eve knew they were about to sin, but with no knowledge of good & evil, how do we not know what sin is? Don't infants in their "innocence" need to he taught what is obedience, what is right, what is just? Experience is a teacher. Example, when I was young, my mother told me "don't touch the oven, it's hot & you will get hurt." I don't fully understand the concept of hurt & I am curious as a toddler so BIG SURPRISE I touch the oven (this is a true story  :laughing7: ) I now ( in essence) have learned the importance of listening to my mother & the pain that results from not listening (even though I won't always take heed to her warnings).

I think the God uses the term Father to help us better understand MANY things in the scripture, including the beginning. It HAD to be what it was or we wouldn't be able to be made whole for is not the knowledge if good & evil also in God?

I digress; I employ everyone to not lean on opinion, but get into the word & use the tools God has given is, the number one being the Holy Spirit for guidance so we can take in the scriptures as a whole & not in part.

These scriptures, read in context to me prove undoubtedly, Gods Will supersedes ours & if He wills us all to come to Him, He as an all powerful loving God, will make it happen!

Romans 9:18-21 KJV
[18] Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. [19] Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? [20] Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it , Why hast thou made me thus? [21] Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? ...

Romans 9:22-26 KJV
[22] What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: [23] And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, [24] Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? [25] As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. [26] And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. ...

Romans 10:12-15 KJV
[12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. [13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. [14] How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? [15] And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! ...

Romans 11:1-2 KJV
[1] ... I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. [2] God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, ...

Romans 11:8-11 KJV
[8] (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. [9] And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: [10] Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway. [11] I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. ...

Romans 11:26-28 KJV
[26] And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: [27] For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. [28] As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. ...

Romans 11:32-36 KJV
[32] For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. [33] O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! [34] For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? [35] Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? [36] For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. ...

Behold the power of the One true God Who has willed me to serve Him in this life! Praise, Love & Blessings as we grow in our faith & the same to those who will come to find it ! :HeartThrob:

Wow, nicely done.

Changes your whole mentality on the world and it's events when you look at it from a loving, wise, faithful, and good God perspective.  I also am very thankful to be released from the confusion of the lesser doctrinal prisons.

Thanks for sharing that.

Amen, and how wonderful also to be ones whom He has chosen to know Him during this life time!

Rich I very much enjoyed reading your post and how you see it.. I agree so much. I see it as we would not and could not be whole without the so important foundation lesson we are learning.. I think of it this way (after much prayer) that thinking ability, sooner or later (surely?) includes the ability to make choices...

Yet God is Perfection and is also Life, the very life force, I mean, who else or what else could or would be? "In the beginning God.."

Endowing thinking ability (to angel and man) was (surely?) a real Pandora's box! whereupon a whole new world (or tree) of possibilities came to be..

And once one chooses any teeny, tiny thing which differs from what He chooses, we become imperfect, the opposite of life. Hence, life as we presently know it, and the rescue needed.

But why choose to save some now? and some later? After much prayer, it seems very logical to me - and logic to me is one of the keys to the Word of God - that we are indeed learning to fully understand "good from evil" which, imo, is also life from death, and true from not true, but most especially life from nonlife..

What is the best teacher? Besides the Holy Spirit, or rather including the Holy Spirit.. Is it not experience?

Therefor I believe this whole thing.. life as we know it, and mankind's history is God's drama. HiS drama proving what is good and what is evil.. and proving to "aLL" that to wander from God (who is life) or to differ with Him in any tiny way as to what we choose, is to wander from life, and can only, ever, end (if God did not intervene!) in a self destructive puff of smoke.. and dust and ashes, which dust of (apocalypse) shall rise up forever and ever - will never be forgotten.

He is writing His law on our heart..

Consider this! (please:) Because He is life, He experiences all sufferings which ever have, do and will occur!! Why would He put Himself through all that? perhaps, because He is not creating an ant farm, or robots, but His own family, and a for ever un-breakable paradise. Un-breakable because the full knowing of good from evil (life from death) will be deeply engraved upon every heart, mind and psyche.

blessings and peace..! :cloud9: :hiya:

Very well put! I agree completely! He's creating the perfect family! Many people think universal salvation means God made robots & He will force ppl to come up Him, but once eyes are open to the true love & magnificence of God who will want to deny that? For who has gone against His will? Does not the potter have rights over the clay ! He will shed the blindness & manifest our family in truth
