Gnashing of teeth does not suggest torture

   I was reading up on the Laodecian church...and this thread it hit me..the same spiritual condition as the religious leaders in

   Jesus time on earth. Self-satisfied with where you are spiritually...thinking you are in great spiritual shape.........

   you say I am rich and have need of nothing. but His examination finds you poor,blind and naked.

   blind pharisee's...etc...spew you out of my mouth/they certainly did gnash their teeth.

I think gnashing, or grinding, of the teeth is just caused by anxiety, and it doesn't have anything to do with torture in fire forever. It's amazing how many ridiculous things people use to try to prove things that scripture doesn't actually say. I think, if I was being burned alive forever, I'd be hollering like crazy instead of just gnashing my teeth. I think gnashing of teeth is what the unfaithful will experience when they're cast out of the earthly kingdom of the heavens in Jerusalem into the outer darkness. There's no reason to think that has anything to do with torture in fire forever. I think Matthew 13:42,50 is a parable about the end of the eon when the wicked will be killed in the judgments of the seven bowls in Revelation, but, as we know, even unbelievers will eventually be given immortality from the second death in the lake of fire where they will know nothing. So they won't even be tortured in the lake of fire until death is abolished. Scripture only says the Adversary, the wild beast, and the false prophet will be tormented for the eons of the eons in the lake of fire. I experience gnashing of teeth 24/7 because I'm hyper, but I'm not being tortured except figuratively by political nonsense or fellow believers who tell me I'm going to hell for being a heretic. Fortunately I find both amusing. Gnashing of teeth is just another crazy thing those who are deceived use to try to con us into being trapped by Satan's lie. Nowhere does scripture say unbelievers will be tortured in fire forever. That's simply the nonsense of orthodox theology used to literally scare the hell out of folks. Forget it, and believe the inspired written word of God that all on earth and in the heavens will be reconciled to God through Christ's blood on the cross so that God may be all in all.
