Propriation only for believers ?

God bless you

1 Tim   4 ...

9 It is a trustworthy statement deserving full acceptance.

10For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God,

who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.
11Prescribe and teach these things

Jesus is the reward  !!

In Romans 3:25, Paul is talking about the importance of faith. He is not saying that Jesus only died for believers, because as Rose showed us, Jesus is the savior of all men, especially believers. The word "especially" is an inclusive word, not exclusive. However, before the end comes and God is all in all, only believers receive the gift of righteousness through grace and faith, the righteousness that I believe is described in Titus 2:11-12: "Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world."

The reason Paul is talking about the importance of faith is because salvation from sin comes by way of the Holy Spirit, a gift given to believers. He never says that Jesus did not die for all, but that those who believe are being made righteous by the gift of grace given to them, which is the Spirit, and walking in it ("in this present world"), seeing that past sins have been forgiven. Because Christ died for all, all will eventually be saved, but each to his own order (1 Cor 15).

Jesus was (is) propitiation for our sins.

Because of the above I was already Saved.

I did not believe I was Saved
My unbelief kept me from entering in to my salvation.

Someone filled with the Holy Spirit told me I was already Saved
I believed them and entered into my salvation.
My belief did not save me .

But I in my mind literally had NO salvation until I believed

  Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by His vast strength.  11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics[g] of the Devil.  12 For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.

Good question.  I enjoyed looking into it.

Romans 3:25(English Standard Version (ESV)
whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.

God put up the propitiation for all, and it is received by faith.

2 and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. NASB

Propitiation means the turning away of wrath by an offering.     Reminds me of the song

Covered by the Blood     how sweet this is .. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHQyoAi9jJ0

Once in sin's darkest night I was wandering alone;
A stranger to mercy I stood.
But the Savior came nigh
When he heard my faint cry,
And He put my sins under the blood.

Refrain

They are covered by the blood;
They are covered by the blood;
My sins are all covered by the blood.
Mine iniquities so vast
Have been blotted out at last,
My sins are all covered by the blood.

From the burden I carried now I am set free,
For Jesus has lifted my load.
O the love and the grace I received in its place
When he put my sins under the blood.

Refrain

I can ne'er understand why He sought even me,
Why His lifeblood on Calvary flowed.
But sufficient for me,
Since He died on the tree,
He hath put my sins under the blood.

Refrain

Now He comes to my heart and removes every care;
He bears all my cumbering load.
In a pathway replete
With His love are my feet,
Since He put my sins under the blood.

Oh, I see that now. The old brain gets a little blurry sometimes. Well, no apology is necessary from anybody who wants to amplify. I'm not as animated with the text and emoticons like some of you are. I just try to get the words down before I forget them.

Even OT Jews didn't believe that.
During Atonement day 1 bull was sacrificed for each pagan nation. (the world started with 70 nations (and principals) at the tower of Babel)
So even thousands of years before Jesus was born Father was busy with salvation of all.
:2c:

1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. 19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.(Ro 8)

From the beginning the plan was to restore all from chaos into harmony through a revelation of love as forgiveness, humility, and generosity(grace). People talk about the Roman road but they don't know where it begins or  ends because they only read a few verses.

The Roman Road.

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. (Rom 1)

1 Therefore you have no excuse, everyone of you who passes judgment, for in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things,

For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, 15 in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, 16 on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus. (Rom 2)

Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, 30 since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one. (Rom 3)

(as it is written, "A father of many nations have I made you") in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist. 18 In hope against hope he believed, so that he might become a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken, "So shall your descendants be." (Rom 4)

6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. (Rom 6)

20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own volition, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. (Rom 8)

"I will call those who were not My people, 'My people,'
And her who was not beloved, 'beloved.'"
26 "And it shall be that in the place where it was said to them, 'you are not My people,'
There they shall be called sons of the living God.
" (Rom 9)

18 But I say, surely they have never heard, have they? Indeed they have;

"Their voice has gone out into all the earth,
And their words to the ends of the world.
" (Rom 10)

For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience, 31 so these also now have been disobedient, that because of the mercy shown to you they also may now be shown mercy. 32 For God has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all.

33 Oh, the depth of the riches [l]both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! 34 For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor? 35 Or who has first given to Him [m]that it might be paid back to him again? 36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen. (Rom 11)

12 So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God. 13 Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this—not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother's way. (Rom 14)

11 And again,

"Praise the Lord all you Gentiles,
And let all the peoples praise Him."
12 Again Isaiah says,

"There shall come the root of Jesse,
And He who arises to rule over the Gentiles,
In Him shall the Gentiles hope." (Rom 15)

Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past, 26 but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations, leading to obedience of faith; 27 to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be the glory forever. Amen. (Rom 16)
