I was looking for some other info, and ran across this. Interesting..
Original question - "What does 'ultimate reconciliation' mean? Is it referring to the fallen angels and Lucifer or just believers?"
Part of one answer; "I would encourage you to read about the history of this doctrine. It may not be commonly held by the saints in America in this hour, but there is great apostasy in the church (a divorcement from truth), and if you use the beliefs of America's churches today as your guide you will have a poor measuring stick to compare things with."
Part of a second answer; "This is a heresy taught by some. It teaches that all will be reconciled with God, even Satan.
In other words they preach the error that our choices do no permanent harm.
They often quote this scripture;
Quote:
19For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross
If we take this passage out of context it seems to support their heresy. But even this passage says BY HIS BLOOD. You can not reject the blood and then be saved."

I have noted over and over that more orthodox believers are prone to repeatedly refer to doctrines they disagree with, as heresies, and usually without even explaining what they are.
"No! No! That's bad!! Don't touch!"
The question is, does "all" mean ALL or does all mean something else? :dsunny:

All means a small select few. Didn't you get the memo?
I didn't get the memo. Post, pls...
The trinity doctrine lands right up there at the top of this thread. When ever I want to show or tell a "Christian" that they worship a different God than me I bring up the trinity. Then proceed to tell them that one of us is severely wrong...............dead wrong.
In other words they preach the error that our choices do no permanent harm.
If my choices can add to permanent harm.
Then my choices can add permanent good.
Let see.
What can I add to the finished work of Jesus?
Got any ideas. Permanent ideas?

God ALLways speaks the truth except when He said Jesus was sent to save creation. :laughing7:
Excuse me? :dsunny:
I hope you understood that was a sneer at ET logic....? :gimmefive:
Isn't "ET Logic" an oxymoron? :Chinscratch:

Usually a moron that was deprived of oxygen for an extended period of time :LH:
Just because they believe what their bibles seem to say and what their preachers teach, doesn't mean they are morons. There are many of us who have ET loved-ones, and many ET'ers out there are doing much good works for the sake of our Lord. They have the faith God has given them. Yes, there are some who have bad attitudes, but the majority of the ET'ers I know are faithful believers. We sometimes say careless things about ET'ers because of their beliefs, but we must remember that WE don't have ALL knowledge and wisdom either. If we put down on them or condemn them, then we are doing the same to ourselves!

Amen.. :declare:
Not only that but many of us in UR were Christians and yet believed in ET.
My wife is ET and she shows more of the love of God than I do. (I know, that's not saying much :laughing7:)
