About

About Us

A ministry of grace—exploring the victorious, restorative gospel of Jesus Christ for over three decades.

How it Began

The Founding

Tentmaker was founded in the late 1990s by Gary and Michelle Amirault. Through this ministry, they touched the lives — directly and indirectly — of perhaps millions of people around the world. Across every continent, countless individuals came to know our Father-God, the Creator of the universe, in a deeper and more transformative love than they could have ever imagined.

Their calling was to help people “grow and mature” into the fullness and stature of Christ, and to be about our Father’s wondrous business.

When you truly come to know the King of the Universe — and discover that He loves us all, not merely in words, but through every high and low of daily life — that love becomes impossible to keep to yourself. Anyone who has experienced it knows it must be shared. That is what Gary and Michelle modeled before us, and it remains what we are all about.

Why We Exist

Purpose & Mission

For Gary and Michelle, along with millions around the globe, there eventually comes a day when the Lord removes the scales from our eyes — ones we often never knew were there — and opens us up to see that “all are redeemed: full stop!” The plan is far grander than any of us could have imagined.

It is a plan declared by the holy prophets, by Jesus in His kingdom law, by the apostle Peter in Acts 3:21, and by the apostle Paul in Colossians 1:20. This is the lens through which Scripture reads rightly — not eternal punishment imposed backwards onto the text, but restoration as the thread running through it.

Scripture reveals the plan truly is, from Genesis to Revelation: the salvation, reconciliation, and restoration of all.

This was the heart and purpose behind Tentmaker. Gary and Michelle sought to build a rich repository of resources, led by the Lord, so that anyone might have a place to discover this wonderful, victorious gospel of grace.

A Journey of Faith

The Passing of Time

Gary and Michelle’s active ministry continued until November 2018. This was when the world learned of the passing of these beloved. For 71 and 69 years respectively, those close to them had the privilege of experiencing a reflection of God’s love poured out into the world.

Their daughter Elena wrote in 2018:

“I am deeply saddened by the passing of both my mother and father just months apart — July 3 and November 8 of 2018. They were some of the most loving, passionate, and genuine people on earth, and I feel blessed to have had the years with them that I did. They dedicated their lives to sharing God’s unconditional love with as many people as they could. When I think of them, I have many fond memories, but the most impactful part of their legacy is how they walked together in faith and love …”

The Tentmaker Story Continues

The message of restoration does not belong to any one generation. It is older than the church and will outlast every institution built to carry it.

Carrying it Forward

Under New Stewardship

In 2018, Elena shared the following message:

“I’m happy to say that my parents’ work in Tentmaker will be preserved. We are grateful to Gerry and Denise Beauchemin of “Hope for All Ministries” for handling the maintenance and preservation of this website. They have been dear friends of my parents, sharing the same mission and beliefs. I feel confident knowing that Gerry and Denise loyally love my parents and will carry on the mission with the same passion.

For those who have reached out seeking guidance, I encourage you to connect with Hope for All Ministries and their fellowship, or Relentless-Love.org.

My father’s physical library has been transferred to The Sanctuary Denver. Special thanks to Peter Hiett and the church for housing the library and helping to preserve my father’s life’s work and research.

I hope you all continue to be blessed by Tentmaker and find peace in knowing God loves all His children — no exceptions. Thank you for all your love and support over the years. God bless.”

What Lies Ahead

A New Chapter Begins

Tentmaker been preserved and maintained — which is what all who were close to the Amirault’s wanted. Now, after quite some time we find ourselves with the joy of releasing a redesigned and restructured website laying the foundations for whatever the Lord would lead us in, and to expand this message as He sees fit.

We are excited for what is ahead, in how this message of the “salvation, reconciliation and restoration of all things” will go forth and what we believe, is a greater unity in the body of Christ to be discovered through it.

Come, explore, read, grow and join a growing chorus of voices who have discovered this amazing message of grace.

With love, Hope for All Ministries
