    Brother,

I must lovingly disagree completely with your statement that “we all will receive salvation” and that “there is no hell”. I do agree that the “doctrine of hellfire and damnation” has turned many away from the Lord but if we read our bible and listen to the words of Jesus; we will see that though His death upon the cross offers salvation to all, not everyone will receive it. Who was Jesus talking about when he said in Matthew 16:28 “Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

Brother, not everyone will be saved and this will be shown to us in the days ahead. God led me to write you this email to you. We are entering the “wilderness tribulation” where God is going to call out His true disciples out of the “beast” which is the world government and the church at large. It is only with complete submission to the Lord that one can be saved, not by simply attending church and “wearing the label of Christian.” God does not want religion… a works based, man made system, but rather the Gospel which is unmerited mercy and grace freely given by no works of our own.

Praise God brother and I hope you receive this message with an open heart and mind.

Tentmaker Response: I have many Bible translations which do NOT contain the concept of Hell or everlasting punishment. They consistently teach a God of Love. I prefer consistent translations, not ones that make God a double minded hypocrite.

  • a double minded hypocrite? Wow.. Now brother I am all for finding the best translation that is true to the priginal texts, but not choosing one that man has used to create a false God that fits their “personal desire” of who God is. Are members of the Taliban saved? Is the Christian pastor who had innappropriate relations in a bathroom saved? Are these men saved despite their belief or lack their of in Christ? Yes. i agree God is a God of love.. But He is also a God to be feared. The entire Bible is filled with “Historical” examples of God pouring out His wrath on those who do not walk according to the Scriptures.. Romans 2:3 says, “Do you suppose, O man–you who judge those who do such things and yet do them yourself–that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you presume on the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that Gods kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when Gods righteous judgment will be revealed? I am writing this with a deep hope and prayer that God will show you that His love does not exist in its fullness apart from understanding that ALL OF US, myself included, have belittled and mocked God…
Gary: How are you any better than a Taliban or a pastor who sleeps around? It seems you know nothing about grace. It seems you are stuck in your own righteousness, not the righteousness which comes from above. Religion like the kind you are presently practicing will NOT earn you anything with God. As a matter of fact, it’s a hindrance to your finding God.
