Hello from USA and was shocked by reading one of the articles on the tentmaker.

Why would it be better for him to not be born if going to hell was for a finite period of time before going to heaven an infinite period of time?

Hello there.  What shocked you?  Plz. bring it to our attention and if it's something that can't be backed up with accurately translated, rightly divided, Spirit-revealed scripture, it would be good to know about it.  On the other hand, sometimes being shocked is good - I've had it wake me up and make me think!   :bigGrin:

There's a lot here.  It is rather unlikely we can speak directly to your problem if we don't know what it is.  Shockingly good? or bad?  Was it on the forum or from "Scholar's Corner?"  You're welcomed to friendly disagreement, some of which exists with most people everywhere.  I think some history of experience with the LORD and genuine humility would make anyone (not yet incorruptible) to admit to not knowing everything and to be possibly wrong about some of what we assume we do know.  Even compassion to help someone out of a mistaken idea about certain things of God would have you trying to understand just what is involved in such ideas.  You can talk to us.
