Title: Hello from Bielefeld, Germany
Post by: Flowerbird8 on December 06, 2010, 03:18:27 PM
Hello, I will say thank you tentmakers for sending me 2 books as gift. I am an 45 old woman living in germany. The books reached me in a time in which I was very unhappy with my little church. I stumbled over tentmaker, because I agree with your confidence, that there can not be an all loving good and the future for nearly the wholo mankind to will be tortoured in hell. I have seen in this time also the book "So You Don't Want to Go to Church Anymore " frome Jacobsen and Coleman on your side and red this. I was so in an inner trouble about my little church, that with the help from this side, that I could leave my church. But the beviour from my sisters and brothers in this church hurt me so much, that I was questioned my whole belief and let me ask if this kind of christian belief let people became so crued, and if the god of the bible realy the oll loving fathere, that I met in my life. So I questioned the existence of good also. I can understand the topics of atheists so good. Few of my friends are atheists and they are more loving people as a lot of my sisters and brothers in church.

I don't  know why, but I am again on the search for answers for my questions about god, spirituality, the reason for live. But I am also on the search for love with may father God (if he really existent) and to love christians, even if they hurt me so much.

This is my intro. I don't know if I have enough selfconfidence to post much messages, because it is hart for me to write in puplic, specially in english. But I will read the messages and discussions at this site with interessted. Happy that you are there.
Corinna

Don"t be shy Corinna, your English is more than good enough to to make many many posts
Reading is certainly a good start.
But asking/discussing is the next step. For me at least.
Make a least a few more posts because you will see an extra section of this forum if you post  5 or 50 times.   James?

 :welcome: :newb:

May the loving God, our Father, who knows much more than earthly fathers how to give good gifts to those who ask Him (Phillipians 1:9);  and our Savior, Yesus (Jesus), Savior of the World (John 4:42) - the good Shepherd Who lays down His life for His sheep (John 10:11);  show to you His mercy, love, forgiveness, and comfort.  Welcome here Corrina.

James.

Welcome here Corrina.
Joh 6:63  It is the spirit which gives Life. The flesh confers no benefit whatever. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and are Life.

@WhiteWings Thank you for your picutre. I love it. Nice to met  you from the Netherlands. I hope I will send messagges and ask. At the same time I becomming a member of the Shak book forum. Do you know this book?

@jabcat Thank you for speaking this good words for me. Welcome.

@micah7:9 Thank you for your bible word.  By the first reading I stumbled over "The flesh confers no benefit whatever." And many questions was in my mind. What is meaning with flesh? I know from my partianship in churches that flesh is not good. But I have never understand it. So I was I little bit sad for running into this conflict. But by the second and third reading I noticed more the first and the third sentence and I get a warm and happy feeling in my heart: It is the spirit which gives Life. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and are Life.

Hope you have a great day.
