New to this forum, all though I've been lurking here of and on for about 6months.

Looking forwards to learning and sharing.

I come from a Apostolic, Pentacostal background (well about 15 years ago). Although I don't come from a particularly 'religious' family.

I was 'introduced' to Jesus by some fellow musicians I'd worked with briefly. Not having a lot of baggage sent me on a bit of a journey.

After feeling quite damned for many years........I guess a light was shed on a few scriptures and I read few books. And here I am......

I post on city-data as Shawn. (my middle name).

Hi Shawn... :icon_flower:
Glad to see you.
"I knelt to drink,
And knew that I was on the brink
Of endless joy. And everywhere
I turned I saw a wonder there."

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
