I want to testify, so the forum has an idea of where I am in my belief, and how I may answer a post question.
I believe in Jesus Christ crucified, His cleansing Blood, that it is Christ in me the hope of glory, that He gave His Life for all men and that it is right(good) and acceptable before God and Saviour, that ALL men will be saved. I believe the Words in the Bible are Spirit and that they are Life, that the Book of Revelation is a spiritual work being worked out in the heavenlies of those who have ears to hear. I give all praise to the King Jesus Christ.
What I no longer and or do not accept are these doctrines of men;
Trinity
Water Baptism
Communion(orthodox)
Eternal Damnation
Eternal Torment
Hell ( phys. location)
Heaven (phys. location)
A Second Coming
That Man Fell
Free Will
The Book of Revelation as literal prophecy
Lucifer
Ezk. 28 and Isa. 14 speaking of satan
Recognizing and celabrating religious holidays
Sat. or Sun. as THE Sabbath day
Spiritualizing the Bible
That Genesis Chapter one is past tense
That at least the first 4 chapters of Genesis may be allegory, perhaps even more.
That man goes to heaven or hell when he dies
There probably are more because just about all of orthodox/christian religious theology is of man.
I have come to believe that the "later rain" movement, that
the moving of the Lord that has begot, what we have today,
has moved on. And that the Body of Christ that Moses led
thru the wilderness to the Promised Land is moving where we
have not been here to fore. I believe and suggest, that "we" have all settled in
to what we have been shown as to how to SEE; and are leary now to
move out into the deep. Hold on if you will, but I fear the Lord is moving up!
