Anne,
Since I missed this post
It is now almost five months since you posted this, I read an article recently that pointed out that the Government unemployment statistics are not accurate, 10% is the figure that is open for all to see and can't be denied so it is begrudgingly at best admitted to be a 10 % average by the Government, the actual unemployment rate
of those who were employed and worked who are now not employed or working is more like 17.5 % if not higher and still rising though not as fast as it was, those whose unemployment benifits expired and who gave up beating the sidewalk looking for another job to work are dropped from the statistics, that is just one example of how the Government keeps this statistical figure much lower than it really is. There are other deceptive tricks they also employ to keep this statistical figure as low as they dare show it, however I am not going to take up your time expecting you to read it all or mine to post it all, if you want you can search the Google or Yahoo sites under unemployment statistics and find out more than I could possibly ever write down.
And last but not least these unemployment figures in actual numbers are in continual change.
Peace,
Fire Walker
