My guess is they look puzzled for a few moments and then say that 'all' is not all but just a small group.
Below 3 of my favorite verses. Especially the last one is against the idea that all isn't all.
All three combined they are stronger that the sum of the individual verses.
But I guess they then just answer like:
- quoted out of context
- wrong translation/Bible
- only for this lifetime
- not to be taken literally
1 Timothy 2:3-4 .... God our Saviour; Who
will have
all men to be saved....
John 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and
believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who
declares the ungodly righteous ....
