Have noted in the last couple of months there seem to be a spirit of anti christ working on this forum ...
the reason I am going to say it is because so many and even me a time or to took OFFENSE over the Word , not so much the Word but
how we see it as the Word
this spirit of anti Christ IS instead of Christ or against Him mostly what Jesus Christ stands for , which is One Body one Bread unity and fellowship love purpose edification etc .. on and one the great things of God right here on earth as it is in heaven / mind of Christ
this weird thing happening is causing a major quenching of the Holy Spirit and works that is a shame
I can see a few still edifying His Body
awesom is our God
but
sorry to say I have NOT been one of them
because of getting offened over a Word spoken by some who are at division over many things not just a few things
pawns maybe in a grand scheme of things
humbling maybe ?
I know I am humbled by it all ...
what has happened here ?

1) to put a stumbling block or impediment in the way, upon which another may trip and fall, metaph. to offend

b) to cause a person to begin to distrust and desert one whom he ought to trust and obey
1) to cause to fall away
2) to be offended in one, i.e. to see in another what I disapprove of and what hinders me from acknowledging his authority
3) to cause one to judge unfavourably or unjustly of another
c) since one who stumbles or whose foot gets entangled feels annoyed
1) to cause one displeasure at a thing
2) to make indignant
3) to be displeased, indignant
are we striking the Lord with our mouths
or walking away in disgust , silenced
Mat 26:31 Then said Jesus unto them,
All you
shall be offended because of me this night:
for it is written,
I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
this verse seems very real and now to me , and we are sure it has happened and will happen still
but are in a present state of being ,,
could use tons of scriptures here
but we blow over them
Its not until someone says whats on their mind before we look
maybe for differnt reasons
to find fault or agreement or just ignore it , because that person means nothing to you
how sad are those whom desire unity and peace in Jesus and cannot find Him in our fellow man , when knowing all that grace that is given has been poured out so abundantly .
we should be so hid in Christ you cannot see us anylonger
but it can be offensive to see Jesus at times
Jesus gave that warning and still gives us that warning
Mar 4:17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward,
when affliction / struck down or persecution/ wrath arises for the word's sake,
immediately they are offended.
you know how hard that is to do and so easy to say to anyone
went silent than spoke up , now dont know what will happen now ..
God help ..

maybe what others have noticed as well ...
love can be so mysterious at times and hard to understand
