"Y'shu'ah, Adoni," fooling yourself that for some reason they make one believe they know more, is vanity
I like the name, Jesus, too. I mostly call him Lord Jesus, my childhood name for him.
But a few years back a friend was on me to call him Y'shu'ah. And, I resisted that for a long time, because of the power of the name, but that is who he is, God Y'shu'ah, God of our salvation. The power kind of overwhelms me.
But, he is my best friend.
1And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
2Behold, God Y'shu'ah; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my Y'shu'ah.
3Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of Y'shu'ah.
4And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
5Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.
6Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion:
for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.--Isa 12
