If vanity was a sin.....

Vanity I do believe goes with pride so I would say, not IF but IS a sin. How it applies to the present topic I haven't the foggiest idea.

The love I presume goes with the vinegar and that is carnal, not of God, but of him within you. Not love but Lust. Lust for revenge to remedy a wounded pride which usually precedes a fall. Now that IS a sin.
