What I find fascinating is the complete turn around from Scripture the majority of people teach and believe...............

Gods anger endures but a moment while His mercy is forever, Scripture says.

Yet the majority teach and believe that His anger endures forever (eternal torment) while His mercy lasts only a very short time (consider the majority that we are told that God gives up on after only a relatively few years).

This totally baffles me, yet it really doesn't.

I like to put this before people..............

There is pride, arrogance, ignorance, rebelliousness, hardheartedness, unbelief and so on in operation within and without. Then there is Love. Which of these 'forces' will endure the longest? Which of these powers will outlast the others? The one that lasts the longest will win!!!!!

Hint...............Love never fails. God is Love. Love is eternal. Love doesn't play fair, Love already had a headstart over all the other forces because Love is eternal (no beginning and no end!).

It's not really that Gods sense of justice is overruled by His love. Or He lost His justice.
His justice has a corrective goal. Once that goal is reached there is nothing to correct anymore.
So justice is still very much alive (I do not change) but there is nothing left that requires justice.
