An evangelist came to a huge church for revival.
When he saw the huge building he said, to the preacher,
"Big church here brother, how many saved members you got?"
The preacher sighed and said, "about half"
"Why do so many people think that the Bible is only inspired at certain points -  and that  THEY are inspired to pick out which points?"
No matter what others may say or write, only the word of God is the word of God.

When I was in mainstream, I heard that figure used - that their internal surveys showed about half of those on their church rolls had not as yet experienced the spiritual rebirth, i.e., believed on Christ as their Savior/been given faith to believe.

For the [logos-saying-word] word of God [is]alive and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
