Light of Love
« on: October 09, 2012, 08:06:54 AM »

Wouldst that thou make me Thy son
I have not been a profitable one
I have been wayward
Here and gone again
A mist
Driven by a wind
And I kno
I can never win
Unless Your love
Should bring me in
Wash my soul and
Make me new
Teach me how to
Be like you
Take my hunger make it be
With thirsting
Only Lord for Thee
Until this world below be left
Behind
And I now found with only this
Gift
A heart made pure
By grace
Most satisfied to see Thy face
And once again
To run the race
But this time
Driven by a wind
That lifts my wings
To heights above
And kindles in my spirit
Flames,
The all-consuming
Light of Love

Thank you Jabcat for the new thread... it encouraged me to check past entries and found this awesome poem/song by eaglesway... How did I miss this??? I don't do you-tube so I really appreciate entries that give lyrics...  It seems the Spirit knew I needed some refreshing, cool water...words of life.  Thanks eaglesway and Jabcat for providing some afternoon refreshment for the heart and mind.

Beautiful.
From Him and through Him and to Him are all things.

   :iagree:    very beautiful!  :cloud9:
- Does it say no repentance after death? being resurrected still in their sins (2nd Resurrection) during age of Judgment? sure to be weeping and wailing?
- Is weeping & wailing the beginning of the redemptive process?
- "Behold I make aLL things new" Rev21:5
- "On every high mountain and hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day ..when the towers fall." Is 30:25
- "A new heavens and a new earth" Rev 21:1
- "The lion will eat straw like the ox.. the bear will graze with the cow" Is 11:7
- "They will sit each under his vine, and under his fig-tree, with none troubling.." Micah 4:4

Matthew 11:29 - Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
