Whether or not to allow comments on Youtube or personal choice
« on: January 10, 2011, 07:24:57 AM »
I am working on a video about the history of the Hell Dogma, and its bitter fruits.  And in a way, the video may come off as being Anti-Catholic, Anti-Protestant or Anti-Islam.  I am not for or against any side, since I understand there are good and bad fruits in all of those religions, and other stuff neither good or bad.  And I know how ultra religious Catholics, Protestants and Muslims can get very defensive over any opposing views.
Plus I understand that this can be a really touchy subject for both the ET and UR sides.  ET believers can get downright nasty and completely hijack the video turning it into nothing but attacks against the UR believers.  I can understand that the ET believers are more focused on judgment and wrath, so to them, they think that fear is the only way to create virtue, where the UR believers are more focused on love, and Justice, and think that fear dilutes virtue.

Im not afraid of being refuted.  I did all the historical research on Eternal Torment, and Church history.  So I do not fear their disagreements.  I just dont want my video turned into another hostile message boards where people are just going to start arguments, or have someone trying to learn in need of liberation from the ET doctrine read all those comments and become more confused when that was not the intent of my video.  So, Im not out looking for praise or persecution.

I also have no intent on censoring comments.  I personally would think thats a bit unfair, to give people a bad impression.  Or what one person did once was after I commented a video attacking UR, I explained all about Gods will, and the person who created the video commented me asking for proof, and told me I got that teaching from Satan, and was blocked from that video.  Apparently that user did that to all their opponents to make themselves look as if they won the argument.

I would allow comments and let people speak their minds. And if any of them get really crazy I would then block them.

In that case don't allow comments. :laughing7:

Make your case in the video. Maybe explain a few things in the comment area jut below the video. Include a few links to good UR sites. Then you can close comments.
But also keep in mind there is a ranking system.
Fights cause many comments. Many comments bump up the ranking. Higher ranking means more comments and more views.
So by by closing comments your video gets (possibly) less views of your video.

I would say allow comments and if it gets totally out of control close comments.
