Didn't know where else to post this.  WW recommended another software instead of esword, what was it?

theWord - http://www.theword.net/

The programmer is a very helpful guy and active on his forum.
Note that he has a strong belief that apocalyptical books are no part of the Bible. So you won't find those books in free or paid Bible modules.
(the can be loaded as commentary but that's of limited use)

Otherwise theWord beats eSword hands down imo. Altough I have to say an above average resolution is needed to fully exploit all functionality.

Look here for modules: http://www.tentmaker.org/forum/christian_life/list_useful_links_9060.msg112440.html#msg112440

After a liitle chat with Micah I think I have to add a few things.
The contents of both programs is basicly the same. Same Bibles, commentary etc.
I prefer theWord because it's much more configureble. That way info can be presented exactly the way the user likes. Some minor things that are better. It's all a bit more professional.
If you aren't a person that want to mess around with layouts and stuff then there there isn't a big advantage I think. theWord has several preconfigured layouts. Altough nice none of then was what I was looking for. It took me 10-15 hours to "design" a layout I actually like.
Also note: Having lots of information shown simultaniously requires lots of screenspace. A high screen resolution.

thanks, I was hoping it would be Mac native.  I have windows bootcamped but it slows everything down when I open it, I only really have bootcamp for esword.  And I only use it when trying to get the CLV.  Is there any online CLV?
