THE SOUL

  Hi Everyone,

  I was wondering do any of you have an understanding or any

knowledge in the spirit about our soul as it pertains to

inner and outer soul?

   I was given a 'word' one nite,severl years ago. I was told

  I have an inner and outer soul?

   He disperses His mind on matters throughout the body..

  and I am hoping some of you here can help me with this.

I also have some thoughts about the 'soul'....what you refer to as the 'inner' and 'outer'....

I still am learning though...so I also would like to hear what others have shared in the thread that you found.

Hi Sheila,

Yes I found it too...and have been blessed by many that have posted their thoughts...

I also hope that you keep this thread open...regarding what you refer to the 'outer' and 'inner' soul.

I too have heard the Lord speak to me about the 2 very distinct 'souls'....

This that I speak of is in regards to Old Adam...and the Second Adam....

I see them as BOTH having 2 distinct (spirits, souls, bodies) respectively.

The word *SOUL* can get muddied up quite a bit ...for it is used interchangeably by so many regarding their understanding of the word...

For my definiton I choose to make the distinction as to who I am referring to regarding what is going on WITHIN ME....I call one the soul of the old woman (that old woman as of now is still me...my former nature....of which I see as the RESIDUE of the Old Adamic Spirit...of which the old adamic spirit is NO LONGER me....for it has passed away and all things are BECOMING new....that is the word>>BECOMING.)

The other soul is of the new woman...(me  )....born from above...of the Lord from Heaven....JOINED and is ONE SPIRIT with Him....this is what I am starting to understand....(my language is that of a toddler right now so please have mercy as to what I am trying to articulate for it is all still unfolding within me...and each day changing...as I contine to die to the old soul and the new soul BECOMES more within me....)

He is revealing to me that the more I request (of which He is the one that gives me the grace to even know to ask....all praise to His most glorious name..) for His Kingship and Lordship within my Soul...for Him to have complete dominion over my mind, my heart, my will, my emotions...and as Card graciously pointed out....my desires....this is when the old woman's soul is dying more and more and getting weaker and weaker until there comes a day when the Lord will speak the words 'It is FINISHED'....I have heard Him speak these words over my old adamic spirit....and there was a very LITERAL change that I experienced....whew....I give Him all the praise and glory....

There are many that have the understanding of positionally that old adam is ALREADY dead...and while I agree with this...I also agree that is has been my experience that there has been a very real walking out on earth this dying of the old woman....as the Lord has given me the grace to pick up my cross and follow Him....and cooperate with Him....there came a day that the old adamic spirit within died....and now what I am coming to understand is that the Lord is going forth and removing the essence of that spirit that is found within the soul....the memories, the tastes, the habits, the weaknesses, the likes, on and on....this is why I refer to it as the RESIDUE. There is a glorious sister in Christ who is now in the heavenly cloud of witnesses and she understood it to be as the CURING OF THE MEAT....for after a animal is slaughtered it is DEAD....but then it is hung to DRY....and it is during this time that after being slaughtered that at times the animal will twitch...even though it is dead.

This sister then explains so too after the old adamic spirit dies within the saint....that the old adamic soul is what is now being CURED...and this process takes time....until eventually all the marrow will be completely dried out....for the marrow is the life-force of the blood....and we know that the LIFE is IN THE BLOOD. The very heart-blood of old adam is being drained out of us....and the BLOOD OF THE LAMB is now overcoming and going forth into every property within our land....(spirit, soul, and body)...until eventually we are ONE with HIM on earth as in Heaven....for we are ONE in Heaven now....(now once again...remember you are hearing the words of a toddler....so please have mercy as to what I am sharing b/c this is what I understand right now....as I grow so too will my understanding...)

I share all of this b/c you asked as to what one might know or has come to understand about the Soul....I hope that what I have shared might bring clarity and be a blessing to you.

Shiela, I understand that there is a body and a spirit and when the spirit is joined with the body there is a soul.  I think soul is interpreted often as "life" in the scriptures.

  Sheila, there is very little that sounds weird to me anymore where the Lord is involved; I've never heard her, but I've seen her in a dream as the physical representation of what was given to me to understand, was the Jezebel spirit, that sits upon all men (mankind). And I'll bet she IS displeased, LOL....Blessings....

  The body is the temple of God, ie. His "house". The soul is God's "woman" within that house. She, unfortunately, has the nature of a harlot, until He brings her under submission thru His unfailing love, which changes her nature into that of a virtuous woman. Literally with Him it becomes like, "Honey, it's like it never even happened!"

He showed me the soul has four parts, which is why there are 4 horns on the altar, 4 "corners" of the earth as well. The 3 comes in with us being a triune creature, ie. spirit, soul and body.

The soul is caught up (RAISED UP, as in a resurrection while still in the body) to meet Him in the air (where the CLOUDS are, ie. representative of that which is not of the earth, earthy, but of the Spirit/heavenly).

If you look up what Mary MacDonald actually said He said to her, (that some man heard and then took literally and turned into one of the most idiotic doctrines ever created ala the "rapture" for self gain), and take it as a SPIRITUAL work of the Spirit, it makes much more sense. Blessings....

This is what I see/understand as of now....for it is unfolding to me....

I see the Pattern....Yahshua....and He is the REALITY of the Shadow....the TEMPLE.....

The outer court (physical body).... the inner court (the soul).....the Holy of Holies....(the Spirit)

He that is JOINED to the Lord is ONE SPIRIT....

Your question of does God rapture our soul at some point (harpazo)?....Yes I believe this is what it the catching up of the Manchild...of one who has died to self (old adam)....and has been born from above...this to me is the REAL BORN AGAIN experience...and this to me happens in body, soul, and spirit....I see it as progressive.....the beginning of the new birth is experienced in the Spirit....and then this will be experienced within the soul (the salvation of the soul)....and progress into the complete salvation/full redemption of the body...

(now please note...this is MY understanding thus far....for I do feel very much as a toddler IN CHRIST at this point...even though I have been a believer for over 20 yrs.) While I was typing I just noticed what Cardinal wrote...and I agree with her about the Harlot...and that is how I see the unfolding/progression of the salvation of the soul...until it is finally in complete submission and has had a divine transformation to such an extent that the former nature is GONE...and a new one/the real one from the foundation of the earth is experienced.

What are the four parts of the soul?

  Hi....The mind, will, emotions and desires. When this was given to me, it was made a reality to me by His Spirit as fire, "inhabiting" or activating/giving life to, each one of the last three and letting me be aware of it as He did it, day after day. He would reveal things to me in these areas that I had to be willing to surrender to the fire/altar of God so that the fire could consume it, cleanse the motive of it, and restore it. All of these things He says He does, He LITERALLY does, if you will open yourselves up to Him and allow Him to do it without fear. This is how the Spirit searches out the hidden things of the heart. This is how He taught me on the redemption/justification of the soul.

Going back to what was posted on Pardes, it is impossible to know things of God that are mystical in nature without God performing them in your midst, and by know, I mean as in Adam knew his wife and they were one flesh, because by their very nature they are unapproachable thru intellect alone. When people are "caught up" to see the things of God, it means that part of them that includes intellect are "escorted" by the Spirit to see the things of the Spirit.

We were not made to only KNOW ABOUT Him from a book (s), we were made to KNOW HIM, as Adam knew his wife and they were one flesh. When the Spirit quickens something to us, that is the same as Him "kissing" us (Song of Solomon) with the kisses of His mouth (realm of His breath). It's intimate; it's a relationship that produces new life, it's the beginning of union.

Not surrendering to the "touch" of His Spirit is like if a man and his newlywed wife sat in their living room and she read a book about intimate union between the two, and promptly got up and announced she knew all about it and therefore that was all that was required to produce to new life! He intended for us to EXPERIENCE Him, not just read about Him. And that first experience was definitely not enough, for either of them, seeing how He wants lots and lots of "children". Blessings....

That first paragraph...is so powerful...and SO TRUE...and something that I have experienced and continue to...but not like how I did when he took me through a SEASON of refining.....to where I can say that I know HIM as THE REFINER of my soul...praise His holy name.

Yes, I do agree with you that true revelation can only come from the Spirit of Revelation...and this cannot be apprehended through a book....it can only come as one spends time communing with Him...for He is our teacher.

  Thanks everyone,

   A lot to digest. Often He does not let us understand what He

 is doing until after He has done it. I remember a dream I was

 given,too. around 5 years ago..which I understand now as the

 Jezebel spirit that sits on men. She was in the act[atop] a man

at the time....I wanted to burn the whole place down but

instead a great firehose was used that drove her and all those

men out of the house...clearing the house of those fornicating

immoral spirits.[spiritual water/cleansing?]

   I also see these old 'natures' unclean spirits as those who

war against the Lamb and God...and as such, because they

do...their eyes rot and tougne rots as they are standing and

speaking...kinda like the wicked witch on the wizard of Oz that

melts down.  The 'jezebel' was young and appeared beautiful in

my dream..but when I heard her voice later..she was old and

close to passing away[tell by the voice tenor]

   I actually saw in the spirit when I met Him in the clouds,

  I was kneeled at His feet..he took my hand andlifted me up to

  standing position..and I said 'MY LORD HAS DELIVERD ME

 UNTO HIMSELF"    I never equated that with 'meeting Him in

 the air/clouds before....I realized that there seemed to be no

 top on my head and that the heavens seemed open when

 it occurred [I was driving my car!]  whew!

    We must ALL press on .... it won't be long and we'll be home

   forever.

  No, He doesn't always let us understand what He is doing until it's done. He told me that it was because our carnal minds would corrupt the Word and keep it from bring forth new life, if we had a clue beforehand, LOL. Since He won't give His glory unto another (image), corrupted Word won't be resurrected (in us).

He showed me her in a dream as about a 600 pound woman sitting on a man's head. I was nauseated when I woke up, sometimes happens with the revelation of fleshy things. Then He gave me understanding on it. Yuck!
