Restoration already in the works?

Those who are sure we're "entering the 7th day (or in it)";  that restoration is in the works;  that new revelations are occuring;  the veil is being lifted...

I know, we say, "if you look with spiritual eyes, you'll see the spiritual things". 

OK, but what do you think all the sin, murder, mayhem, apparent breakdown of governments, morals, and societies is about?   Falling away right before the restoration?  Everything being shaken to where all that will stand (and arise  with the ushering in of the next age) is Godliness and righteousness?  "It's really all good  if you'll just look at it spiritually"?

Are you sure the world's just not going nuts (including much of "Christendom") and that "unless those days be shortened" there'll basically be 'nothing' left? 

(OK, I've had a disturbing day, in which a couple of "Christians" I've run across have stood up for some things that scriptures' pretty clearly against.   :sigh:).

Don't get me wrong, I know God's in control, sometimes I just....

P.S.  I'm not saying it's not in the works, just take a shot at putting some of these pieces in place.   :thumbsup:

Yes James it is certainly apparent that lawlessness is increasing in many people and societies but I have also seen some amazingly pure people (including children) who are coming into the world... I think (and I hope beyond hope) that the end of lawlessness is coming very soon and that peace and love are going to reign in every heart left upon the earth. Come Lord Jesus!!!

Jabcat, I kind of think like you do on this. I don't see a restoration in progress. It seems to me things are getting worse and worse. I think the only thing that will start setting things straight is the return of Christ back to this earth. It will take God, not man, to turn things around. I could be wrong but I think when things are at their worst, that is when Christ will return. When the world is close to the brink and realizes it needs him more than it ever has, that is when he will return and start the restoration.

I think it's the end of the age, and the maturing of the wheat and the tares.  I don't know how else to explain it.  Evil is right in your face now.

   and here are His rewards........the right to eat from the TOL..a crown of life..to not be hurt of 2nd death,a whit stone with a new name

   authority over the nations,to be dressed in white and have your name acknowledged before His angels,be kept through hour of trial,

  becaome a pillar in the temple,name of the city and His name,the right to sit with Him on His throne.

   and we know of the filthy garments of self-righteousness,and unjust balances that deal out grace to themselves and condemnation to others..

   and we know the Holy of His spirit and God..and the free gift of righteousness/weighed out on the scales/against those who fell short..

   two men....the 'camp' of the city He loves surrounded
