I'm looking to put together a word picture of the day of judgement.  Basically put together a list of scriptures that have to do with the negative and positive aspects of that day (not necessariy in the same passage)
Here's a couple, would love some help please

ISA
25:6 The Lord who commands armies will hold a banquet for all the nations on this mountain. 14
At this banquet there will be plenty of meat and aged wine –
tender meat and choicest wine. 15
25:7 On this mountain he will swallow up
the shroud that is over all the peoples, 16
the woven covering that is over all the nations; 17
25:8 he will swallow up death permanently. 18
The sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from every face,
and remove his people's disgrace from all the earth.
Indeed, the Lord has announced it! 19
25:9 At that time they will say, 20
"Look, here 21  is our God!
We waited for him and he delivered us.
Here 22  is the Lord! We waited for him.
Let's rejoice and celebrate his deliverance!"

ZEPH

Indeed, the Lord has spoken it.

1:21 Those who have been delivered 98  will go up on Mount Zion
in order to rule over 99  Esau's mountain.

Man, those are some of the most beautiful verses in the book- definitely among my favorites.

These verses are a continuous thought of Paul's in Romans, but I cut them down to these main ones for brevity

(Rom 1:16-20)
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who "will render to each one according to his deeds"-

For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified;

for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them)

A Day of Reckoning Coming

12For the LORD of hosts will have a day of reckoning

         That he may be abased.

13And it will be against all the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted up,
         Against all the oaks of Bashan,

14Against all the lofty mountains,
         Against all the hills that are lifted up,

Eze 36

4Therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD. Ain't it wonderful?       

We are His temple :o) The veil will be rent and we will see Him as He is and know as we are known!

Rev 3:21  'He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Rev 21:7  "He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.

For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba! Father!"

The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,

and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.

For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope

that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.

And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.



"There I will cause the horn of David to spring forth; I have prepared a lamp for Mine anointed.
(Psa 132:17)

"His enemies I will clothe with shame, But upon himself his crown shall shine."
(Psa 132:18)

In the same way God, desiring even more to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, interposed with an oath,

so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us.

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil,

where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.


WHY AM I GROANING? BECAUSE THIS HOPE< WHICH REACHES BEYOND THE VEIL IS SO AWESOME< AND SO GLORIOUS< IT HURTS!!!!

It sounds to me like he's restoring us back to our original realm . . .our return to the garden of Eden.  The realm of the natural is now the realm of the spiritual . . .the emphasis, the influence, the dominance of "this" cursed earth was reversed spiritually on the cross and will also be reversed literally when the "end" has come.

 I agree. Kingdoms, principalities, every tower that exalts itself against the true knowledge of God will fall in the presence of the Light- that God is love and he that loves knows God and is known by Him- That God is light and in Him there is no drkness at all, and whoever hates his brother walks in darkness still- That our God is a consuming fire, and in the end He will be ALL IN ALL, and ALL WILL BE IN HIM< DWELLING WITHIN THE EVRLASTING BURNING, shining and not being consumed. The glory of God will fill all things. Maybe even beyond Eden. Even above and beyond all we can ask or think ;o)
