Now THAT'S a New Thought On Mercy and Justice
« on: August 29, 2009, 06:43:11 AM »
By Hansson (taken from Glad Tidings Chapel):

"When the Divine Love plans it is wisdom, when it executes it is power, when it punishes it is justice, and when it forgives it is mercy. If one sinner escape his full punishment God is unjust. If one is lost he is unmerciful."

I never thought of it this way.

Wow, and I just had another thought: God is all knowing right? Yes. God created ALL men right? Yes. Therefore, if God created ANY man KNOWING that this man would be ultimately lost: he truly would be being UNMERCIFUL. But God IS merciful: therefore NO MAN will be lost! :bigGrin:
1 Timothy 4:9-10:

 9stedfast [is] the word, and of all acceptation worthy;

 10for for this we both labour and are reproached, because we hope on the living God, who is Saviour of all men -- especially of those believing.

Proverbs 10:12:

Hatred stirs up dissension,
    but LOVE covers over ALL wrongs.

Sounds good to me!  :cloud9:
One thing I have learned is the one that complains the loudest, is not always the one that suffers the most.

 Psa 106:1 Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.  :HeartThrob:

That's the problem... Every sinner escapes his full punishment!! Jesus took the full punishment for our sins!!

Seriously, grace means undeserved unmerited favor, not one of you will recieve any type of judgement from God, through the grace of God you have been freed.

Yeah, I realized that after I posted the message. I think it's interesting. Sometimes I post things before I think them completely through, or because I, at the very least, find them interesting. xD
