Acts 2 - "Save youselves from...."
« on: May 04, 2008, 07:50:05 AM »
This has likely been noticed by most here, but it was new to me.  Since my belief has changed from ET to UR in the last 6-8 months I notice so many more things like this.  It's a bit like buying a different car and suddenly you see how many others have the same car you have.  They were there all along, but you weren't looking for them.

I was reading my Bible a few days ago in Acts 2.  I'm imagining this scene where they are filled with the Holy Ghost and have tongues of fire on their heads.  I was actually looking for where Peter quotes David "31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption."  As I read on I saw where Peter urges them to , "Save yourselves from..."

Here is the perfect opportunity to present the message of ET and boldly proclaim the warnings of fiery Hell and he does not do it.

I was so thrilled when I saw this.

Acts 2
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
