2 'Salvations'
« on: August 03, 2010, 04:21:51 PM »
I'm just thinking about God's words in 1Tim 2.4 where He says His will is to save all and for all to come to a knowledge of the truth.

2 salvations. Save all just by grace and because we are His is the first salvation. The second is when we come to REALIZE this blessed event in our lives. The jailer asked what he must do to be saved. I'm reading this as meaning what must I do to realize that I'm saved.

For it is God who works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure.
