I saw this verse by Paul
1 corinthians 5:9-13
So I think some kind of judgment is necessary, but you could argue that Paul is proven to be in christ and can therefore excercise rightous judgment

Paul said he prayed in the Spirit more than them all, so I'm pretty sure that wasn't for naught, and He revealed things to him that needed judged by His Spirit. Blessings...
