Hi all , I had to come back for this one too,
and speak up , I have been in "quiet " mode
Thanks for bringing this to the table SQ
and thanks for the thoughts on the subject Pierac/ Paul
I believe when Jesus come to abolish death He did Just that
that is exactly what the Cross means to me
Because Jesus is the" Resurrection" and the Life that "He is " always
thats why its not past
as to over thow the faith of some
the Last Day or the Day of the Lord is the 1000 years complete to me
the 930 of old Adam and the 70 years more or less of mans days of his flesh =1000
Psa 90:10 The days of our years [are]
threescore years and ten; and
if by reason of strength [they be] fourscore years, yet [is] their
strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off,
and we fly away.
The 1000 years is a" Day "unto the Lord , the Lords Day or last Day
Psalm 90
A prayer of Moses, the man of God.
1 Lord, through all the generations
you have been our home!
2 Before the mountains were born,
before you gave birth to the earth and the world,
from beginning to end, you are God.
3 You turn people back to dust, saying,
"Return to dust, you mortals!"
4
For you, a thousand years are as a passing day,
as brief as a few night hours. 5 You sweep people away like dreams that disappear.
They are like grass that springs up in the morning.
6 In the morning it blooms and flourishes,
but by evening it is dry and withered.
7 We wither beneath your anger;
we are overwhelmed by your fury.
8 You spread out our sins before you—
our secret sins—and you see them all.
9 We live our lives beneath your wrath,
ending our years with a groan.
10 Seventy years are given to us!
Some even live to eighty.
But even the best years are filled with pain and trouble;
soon they disappear, and we fly away.
11 Who can comprehend the power of your anger?
Your wrath is as awesome as the fear you deserve.
12 Teach us to realize the brevity of life,
so that we may grow in wisdom.
this is the learning phase our years as spirit wraped in Flesh
they both go to where they come from , up and away our spirit returns to God
and the flesh / dust back to the ground where it come from
Jhn 11:25 Jesus said unto her,
I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead,
yet shall he live:
And whosoever
liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
Jesus was showing this amazing victory over death while when raising Lazurus from the dead
the Last Day is resurrection day and all things new
Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
Day of the Lord Judment in wrath the old is done way in Christ
Jhn 12:50 And I know that
his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. I would love to explain this better , but many have explained better than this poor attempt made by me today , yet trying to still
