So I was ninja-sneaking around and looking at the guest topics, when I came across a thread;
http://www.tentmaker.org/forum/discussions_universal_salvation/is_really_bad_pharisaical_spirit_possible_wout_belief_eternal_separation_3016.0.html ---- that had this in it;
but to me that's still different from saying that at the end of the day that you're burned toast because the Blood of Christ supposedly can only be applied effectively in this life, His promises are meaningless beyond this life for everyone who didn't initiate those spiritual laws in this life, and when it comes right down to it -- the grave forever seals some beyond the reach of Christ in the way that would have really mattered.
And as I was reading it, I read to the part talking about how people basically say there are no chances, and of course, reading it in the context of the poster who was saying such a mindset that once your dead you're fate is sealed is a ludicrous concept; and of course I was agreeing, thinking to myself - "Yeah, it is pretty ludicrous, Jesus is bigger than that..."
And then it hit me! "...I just agreed to the fact that the idea that if you don't accept Christ in this life your fate is sealed was ludicrous...and it came so natural, without me even having to think about it - where as before I supported, defended, and spread that very belief tooth, sword, and nail..."
It was kind of nice, to see for a little blip of a second that "inner change" of thought. :) And I just wanted to share that testimony of progress, afterall it is the little things that are often the most valuable to share.
