I absolutely believe that we will remember our loved ones....
No doubt about it! It will be one of the most amazing, awesome, unbelievably happy things that God has planned for us. What would honor God more than to have so many loving relationships... reunited. To have so many people have their grief QUENCHED? To have so many people so completey thrilled and ecstatic to do all of those things for their loved ones they wished they would have done on earth. Most grief involves guilt and regret and remorse over not having loved ENOUGH. Over not having shown their loved one ENOUGH love. Think of the JOY the Father will feel to see His beloved children so incredibly happy to be able to heap love upon one another!!!! Think of that beautiful, fantastic picture. How utterly incredible. And what a loving tribute to our God.
God IS love.
Love is eternal.
Now as far as the other stuff, things we did on earth, etc. I do believe we will have memory. But we will be so infused with knowledge, so far ABOVE our earthly lives that there will be no sorrow about our lives. We will finally be able to see CLEARLY and realize the futility we were subjected to while on earth. Perhaps, our lives on earth will be as a vaguely remembered dream. We remember the big picture, maybe not ALL the details? Maybe. Maybe not. Perhaps it will be like old ruins... a memorial. A memorial to what life was like living in the shadow of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. I think that yes, our lessons will be ingrained in us. And we will forever know just how wonderful LOVE is. and how futile and useless and NOTHING non-love is.
I believe we will remember everything and nothing at the same time. I bet you that is the best way to describe it.

I think our view will just be so much higher... that it's going to be ok. Really, everything is going to be ok. We will be immersed in love, pure LOVE. and everything is going to be ok. There really is no need to even worry.
We will all be so in love with love and so in love with our loved ones and so in love with all of creation, and so in love with God... nothing else is going to matter. Maybe our life lessons will be like a little pebble in our pocket that we carry around. To always somehow, on some level always remind us how wonderful our new lives are. How simply wonderful....
peace.
