Re 22:14 -
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have "right to the tree of life", and may enter in through the gates into the city
What I have on my mind right NOW from
the scriptures concerns the "body"....
and "here we have no continuing City..."
You can read in Hebrews and ask yourself where "here" is,
but it is a "place" where there is NO Continuing City.
Heb 13:14 -
For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
Still searching tho concerning the "body"........
Going without the camp, suffering with HIM is better than staying "in the camp
where the bodies of those beasts are
burned"........
Heb 13:11 -
For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
Notice that it is a place of burning of bodies.
Following the Lord provides us with POWER over the "fire" ..........
Re 14:18 -
And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe
Notice above there is a mention of "altar" and also POWER OVER the FIRE.
Remember that we quoted from Heb. 13 that about "we have an altar
where "they" ..........have NO RIGHT to eat.
These scriptures are sorta new to me
put together this way. Tell me what you
think.
Notice in the last scripture above, there is an "altar"
where there is POWER over the FIRE!!
Remember the story of the 3 Hebrew children whose
bodies were cast into the fire, but there was an "angel"
with POWER over the FIRE and it was their enemies
that were "burned" instead.
The "body" seems to be the "purchased
possession" and the "temple" of the Lord.
It is NOT for fornication tho other Lords
beside THE Lord have had domnion over
our bodies.....there has to be a way to
stop that.
Paul prayed that we should be presented to the
Lord "whole, body, soul, and spirit." In the earnest
of our inheritance, it seems the "body" is left til
the "corruptible PUTS on Incorruption" ....now, I am
not talking of "immortality" but I am looking into
the "change" that some shall not sleep, obtains.
Whether "I" ever obtain it or not, I will let God be true.
It is there.
The "body" is NOT for fornication, the "body" is for the
Lord, and the Lord for the body! The redemption of it
is part of our INHERITANCE!!! Do you agree that the "body"
is the purchased possession?
We have been sealed with the earnest of our inheritance,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
But He purchased more than what we enjoy! He also purchased our "bodies"
for our "bodies" are the "temple" of the Lord.
Tho in the old testament, there is a scripture that says:
Isa 26:13 -
O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name/
And
Nehemiah speaks of the "body"
Ne 9:37 -
And it yieldeth much increase unto the kings whom thou hast set over us because of our sins: also they have dominion over our bodies, and over our cattle, at their pleasure, and we are in great distress.
We wait for the "redemption" of that
purchased possession. Redemption from
what? The fire? Is that fire the LOF? And when
death and hell are cast in it, do we obtain the redemption
of the body???
Sounds good to me.
Romans 8 ......redemption of the "body"
I know.........deep........but hopeful.
Mine is worn out.
I love you forever.
C
Hebrews 13.........where it says "we" have
an altar that "they" have NO RIGHT to eat, that "serve"
the tabernacle. That is ministry to "man" ......the first
tabernacle.
The ministry to the LORD HIMSELF is to "serve" the Lord........it is an "altar" most HOLY.
Without the camp is spoken of there. Therefore
let "us" go without the camp. The camp is where
the "people" fellowship, so suffering is to be
seperated from that group and following on the
serve the Lord, right?
-----------------------------------------------
Here are the scriptures mentioning "redemption"
What "if" our "bodies" are the LAND...........???
Notice the word "hope" below........
And remember Romans 8 where it says "What a man
hath, why doth he yet HOPE?" It is talking about
the "body." The redemption of the BODY.
Not a NEW BODY.
A NEW Body needs no redemption.
We shall not all sleep........but we shall all be changed.
God is able to "change" this vile body!
Scriptures with the word "redemption" in it.

And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.

Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
The place of the reproach is also the place of safety! of Peace. For HERE, we have no continuing city
but we seek one to come.
Come up Higher.
