He turned down the opportunity to become immortal. Sichin translates it in such a way as to make that offer a technological plausibility.

Hello Reformer,
Thanks for the information you received from the subject
It looks like you saved me a whole bunch of futile time in study of some mans translation into how to get there by going around Christ, truth is when it comes to immorality there is no other way to immortality other than what Jesus Christ has already done, no matter how any man translates it. I have even found some who without directly saying in so many words that if we do this, that and thus, eat the right food and yada yada yada, (tinkling brass and clanging symbols) we can live here in this world in our flesh and blood bodies forever but we have to do all the work ourselves and sacrifice this and that
to be able to do this, if any of this was true then Jesus Christ died in vain is what I have in answer to religion, there is no more sacrifice outside what Jesus Christ has already done.
Thanks again for the heads up, I do like to study and most likely would have descerned this deception in Sichins translation of this subject, apart from that anything to do with history itself has always held my interest, then again we could study it all our days and never come to the knowledge of the truth unless we are given some descernment to see beyond the letter and the words of men.
Peace,
Fire Walker
