It's a good question (and yes, good answer rhm). I like Gary Amirault's statement that this particular age (the "church" age) is mixed with truth and error. It's the truth we need to pray for, be open to, ask God to give us. Since we're all human and prone to error, I believe it's a good reason to always be aware that we only see and know in part, through a glass darkly. Many have pieces of the big picture, we need to pray for discernment so we're not led astray. I personally believe it's all part of God's plan, bringing mankind to where He wants us - which involves mistakes, stumbling, and always a need to "look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith" (Heb. 12:2).
