I'm not trying to *teach* anyone anything. Nor am I seeking to *learn* anything from any man.
Who are you kidding?
If that was the case, you would not be in a discussion board.
I'm on a discussion board because I have very few else to talk to about Christ.
Everyone I know, everyone close to me, is agnostic or atheist or worse.
It is not my mind, or your mind, that matters--it is in the meeting of minds where Christ exists.
For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them.
--Matthew 18
Then why do you reject the Body of Christ in this discussion board by denying that you are 'teaching' and 'learning'? Yes, your mind and my mind matter. We are all part of the body of Christ.
If you are part of the Body of Christ, then God does use men to teach, and we learn from each other. That is, if you are truly part of the Body of Christ.
Do not deceive yourself or anyone else here. You are teaching, not 'trying' to.
As a result, there are others here who may not have knowledge of aliens (such as my self) but do know how to teach what is true. You should be embracing how to teach the knowledge of aliens (that you presume to know) with truth, not lies (fallacy and logical error is not truth, therefore it is a lie).
Do not deceive yourself or anyone else here. You are 'learning' and God uses by the Holy Spirit every man.
That is why you are in the discussion board, otherwise it doesn't matter if you have few to 'talk' to.
Romans 12:3-8For by the grace given me I say to every one of you:
Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,
so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve;
if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.
----
1 Corinthians 12:50-28The eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you!" And the head cannot say to the feet, "I don't need you!" On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third
teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues.
----
So we are part of the Body of Christ, you are not rejected here by me, but your knowledge and how you share your knowledge is flawed, and I am asking you as one of the Body of Christ who knows these things, you only cause more problems when you use error and fallacy to create what you think you believe.
Otherwise, all you are saying is that your mind matters only.
