Yeah, I'll make a prophecy that we the people of America are going to have
one heckuva ride from this day forward. :Pray:

......resulting from the natural metamorphises of moving from a state of Capitalism>Socialism>Communism. I believe the generation that sees the opening week of Daniel's 70th week, as detailed in the book of Revelation, will not be a generation in which we will want to be living. All the symbols relating to despotic control of the world's economies in Revelation, will already have been in place & initiated many years before the 70th week begins. Death panels of the healthcare systems, food rationing, energy rationing, and control of monetary systems will be so systemic that those of us alive today would scarcely recognize the world system that will exist 50 years from now.

and so I just go to a friend's facebook page and the first thing i see posted is this;

  Psalm 121:7-8 The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

What do you think that LITERALLY and fully means?  Can it possibly mean that God's children will never be involved in heartache, loss, injury?  Again, I think of the early Christians being eaten by lions.  So that calls to me to be perhaps a deeper meaning..all the things we consider harm, are not really harm?  Because it's all spiritual, i.e., even if this body is torn to bits, our spirit is in His hands and the temporal fades in comparison to the real and the "eternal"?  Through it all, His peace that passes all understanding comforts us - peace that the world doesn't know nor can take away?  Thoughts?

I began my day (6 am) by looking at the date 11/15/12 and in it I saw Psalm 111:5 AMP He has given food/provision to those who reverently/worshipfully fear Him...He will remember His covenant forever.   Immediately thought of Seek first the kingdom and all else will be provided (Matt 6:33) and remembered your sharing Psalm 121:7-8 ...

I've been working on my annual letter to family, friends, fellowshippers (and 1-2 foes) and decided on the theme Seek first the kingdom of God and have been stalled a few times...  now I realize God wanted me to check Psalm 121 ...    oh my   the word "keep" (Hebrew shamar is used over 400 times and has a wealth of Scriptural truths).

Ps 121 has shamar  5 x's and depending on the version used shamar is translated keep, preserve, guard...   and shamar is translated in KJV "watchman" 8 times!!!!
well, this could get long.  I just "love" the way in which the Spirit leads us, guides us into all truth through our brothers and sisters...  thanks Jabcat for sharing.

I "love" the Psalms... and will be studying, meditating, praying, praising God for Ps 121

Psalm 121  assures me that God is 'PROVIDING for", watching all my coming and all my going

There was once a psychologist that was not very successful. He tried all the latest techniques but still had a "success rate of about 10%, just slightly less than average. He became despondent. Never much of a religious man he heard about a Rabbi that was having great success after just one visit. He went to the Rabbi and asked him what it was he told people.
The Rabbi replied, "I tell them to get an updated easy to read version of Psalms and proverbs and then to read 5 chapters of Psalms a day and one chapter of proverbs. This gets them through All of Psalms and Proverbs in one month. I've never had anyone come back for more help after 2 months of this program."
"Why do so many people think that the Bible is only inspired at certain points -  and that  THEY are inspired to pick out which points?"

Oh my...  and I thought I devised that plan whereby I could test/try  "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God" at a time (1980-81) when I was a full-time business instructor, plus other community projects and just did not have time to study indepth, etc.  so I started a notebook and read 5 Psalms, 1 Prov a day,  copied one verse that spoke to my hunger and thirst for truth.  Perfect.... 150 Psalms, 31 Proverbs... I actually did this for almost 2 years and had accumulated at least 10 notebooks... I did read and meditate on other books When I had time, I read John's gospel.... over and over... and Isaiah....

 Oh, Ariel, Ariel,
    town where David encamped!
Year by year, let the festivals come around—
2     but I will oppress Ariel.
There will be mourning and lamentation;
    she will be like an Ariel to me.
3 I will surround you like a wall,
    and I will lay a siege against you with assault towers,
    and I will raise up siegeworks against you.

4 You will be brought down;
    from the ground you will speak;
    from low in the dust your speech will come.
Your voice will be like a ghost's from the earth;
    from the dust your words will whisper.

5 But your many enemies will be like fine dust,
    the terrible horde like passing chaff.
Suddenly, in an instant, 6 the Lord of heavenly forces will come to you with thunder, earthquake, and a mighty voice,
    with whirlwind, tempest, and flames of devouring fire.

7 The horde of nations fighting against Ariel,
    and all who make war on her and her fortress and besiege her,
    will be like a dream, a vision of the night.
8 It will be like when a hungry person dreams of eating
    but wakes up and the mouth is empty.
    Or when a thirsty person dreams of drinking
    but wakes up and has a dry throat.
So will it be for all the horde of nations
    who fight against Mount Zion.

9 Be shocked and stunned;
    blind yourselves; be blind!
Be drunk, but not on wine;
    stagger, but not on account of beer!
10 The Lord has poured on you a spirit of deep sleep,
    and has shut your eyes, you prophets,
    and covered your heads, you seers.

11 This entire vision has become for you like the words of a sealed scroll. When they give it to one who can read, saying, "Read this," that one will say, "I can't, because it's sealed." 12 And when the scroll is given to one who can't read, saying, "Read this," that one will say, "I can't read."

This will be just a skirmish, wait till the day you see them move into Lebanon & Syria; maybe someday into Turkey as well, these coming conflicts will not be minor skirmishes, but Israel will win them as well.

Ariel- "Lioness of El", a name for Jerusalem(NASEC, Word Study Concordance, BDB)

They came out, they and all their armies with them, as many people as the sand that is on the seashore, with very many horses and chariots. So all of these kings having agreed to meet, came and encamped together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel. Then the LORD said to Joshua, "Do not be afraid because of them, for tomorrow at this time I will deliver all of them slain before Israel; you shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire."
(Jos 11:4-6)

Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi. And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the LORD: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD.............. Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation; And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.
(2Ch 20:2-4......14-17)

Then Rabshakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language, and spake, saying, Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria: Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you out of his hand: Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria. ........So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah. And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land. (2Ki 18:28-30.....19:5-7)

Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
(2Th 2:3-4)

And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
(Rev 13:4-8)

 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, In the city of our God, His holy mountain. Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, Is Mount Zion in the far north, The city of the great King. God, in her palaces, Has made Himself known as a stronghold. For, lo, the kings assembled themselves, They passed by together. They saw it, then they were amazed; They were terrified, they fled in alarm. Panic seized them there, Anguish, as of a woman in childbirth. With the east wind You break the ships of Tarshish. As we have heard, so have we seen In the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God; God will establish her forever. Selah.
(Psa 48:1-8)

If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth and my right hand lose its skill

Muslim Brotherhood Mobilizes for Hamas
November 15, 2012 By Ryan Mauro

Israel has finally struck back against the terrorist enclave of Gaza after having 120 rockets fired at it since Saturday and over 700 this year alone. For now, the Obama administration is rhetorically supporting Israel, but the Muslim Brotherhood government in Egypt is doubling down on its support for Hamas, Gaza's ruling terrorist organization, and has withdrawn its ambassador to Israel.

This has to be supernatural.

Otherwise, why wouldn't all those huge Muslim countries, whose kings are richer than Croesus, find a way to take in their palestinian brothers and give them a home among their own and let Israel have the gaza and live in peace?

They've had 65 years to do it.

8 Without having seen Him, you love Him; though you do not [even] now see Him, you believe in Him and exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious (triumphant, heavenly) joy.

9 [At the same time] you receive the result (outcome, consummation) of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

10 The prophets, who prophesied of the grace (divine blessing) which was intended for you, searched and inquired earnestly about this salvation.

11 They sought [to find out] to whom or when this was to come which the Spirit of Christ working within them was indicating when He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that should follow [them].

12 It was then disclosed to them that the services they were rendering were not meant for themselves and their period of time, but for you. [It is these very] things which have now already been made known plainly to you by those who preached the good news (the Gospel) to you by the [same] Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Into these things [the very] angels long to look!

13 So brace up your minds; be sober (circumspect, morally alert); set your hope wholly and unchangeably on the grace (divine favor) that is coming to you when Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is revealed.

Daniel rises in the end of days to receive his 'all lot ted inheritance...Dan 12;13

    Gabriel and Michael come to Daniel to make him understand.  the saints were overcome[that

  no flesh boast]  thrones set in place... Court seated.......Daniels prayer  Dan 9  Our sins and

  the iniquities of our fathers have made Jerusalem  and your people an object of scorn

  [spiritual Jerusalem also/christians]  we do not make request of you because of our righteousness..

   BUT BECAUSE OF YOUR GREAT MERCY[70 yrs  1948-2018] anoint most holy..daniels vision

  of Christ [Dan 10;5-12 see Rev 1;12-16]..........

    He said.....Daniel,you who are highly esteemed,consider carefully the words I am about to speak

  to you....AND STAND UP..........

  Dan 12   AT THAT TIME MICHAEL WILL STAND UP..there will be a time of great distress........

  BUT AT THAT TIME YOUR PEOPLE WILL BE DELIVERED[everyones whose name found written in book/

     of mercy/life/Christ]

        and then at the end of days you will rise/stand up to receive your all lot ted inheritance

   Isreal and spiritual Isreal do not call on God because they are righteous or have done and obeyed Him

 they Call on God because ofHis Great Mercy and the scorn the world has for Him and His Name.

   Zechariah 9;6 and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines[uncircumcized]  Philistine/Palestine

   see note on Genesis 10;14 at one time the land of Canaan was called palestine

   even now..rend your hearts and not your garments[circumcize your heart]

   you see..the Lord God purposely chose the weak and foolish of this world..in order to put to shame

   the strong and wise in their eyes....and does not despise the weak/foolish and lowly[the saints

  were overcome]..then the court sit..and the saints were given the kingdom.....

   sacrifice and offering I did not want..but in mercy was my delight

   Hebrews 10;26  if we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of

  the truth..no sacrifice for sins is left[sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire..but in Mercy was thou

  delight v 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgement and of raging fire that will consume

  the enemies of God.[what I am saying is that when the kingdom of darkness overcomes the

 saints[salt of earth] as testified in Dan ch 7  the Ancient of Days takes His seat..........

   AND A RIVER OF FIRE WAS COMING OUT FROM BEFORE HIM[then I ontinued to watch becuz

 of the boastful words the horn was speaking[satan overcoming the saints and boasting/not realizing

  God chose the weak[flesh man] and foolish..to put to shame the strong[satn/demons]......then

   one like a son of man[who had been put to death like all in Adam] was given  authority/glory

  sovereign power[mercy over judgement]

  satan himself causes fire to come down from heaven...he thinks to cause God to judge man worthy

 of eternal burning..bad mistake...the fire that comes down from heaven as God's judgement..

 is mercy to the lowly despised and weak/all in Adam..but consumes all enemies/adversaries/tares

I think these rumours of wars are spurred on by the false prophets, so that the devil can bring ww3 on his time table, thus giving glory to false prophets such as the Mayans. My hope is that this skirmish will end soon, because such a war can trigger the tensions that exist between several countries right now, that are brewing for war.

General Petraeus questioned by Congress
by Molly

You have the General in the room with you for the day, and what do you ask?

We already know that we were lied to for two weeks about a stupid youtube video that had nothing to do with the attack even though we were told repeatedly that it did.  We already know the attacks at both safe houses were planned and co-ordinated.  We already know that the president lied about the attack not being a terrorist attack.  That he lied on tv, that he lied at the UN, that he lied to the parents of the dead men,  that he lied in the second debate.  Romney had him on the ropes before he ran behind Candy Crowley's skirts.

So, again, you have the General at your disposal for hours and what do you ask?

You ask, what was the Ambassador doing at a safe house on 9/11 without any protection?   You ask, what was the Ambassador doing in Benghazi at all?  You ask, who was there?  How did it unfold step by step?  Were the navy seals at the other safe house told to stand down?  By whom?  Why?  Who sent the unarmed drone?  Why was it unarmed?  Did the president and others watch the attack unfold on closed circuit tv for 7 hours and do nothing?  What orders did he give?  To whom?  If he ordered them to send help, why was no help of any kind sent?

But, the media and the congress treat the American people as though they have an attention span of 10 minutes, worse, as though they have the cognitive development of an 8 month old child.  When a baby of a certain age knocks his cup off the high chair, he forgets he had a cup.  Out of sight, out of mind.  So the drum beat is on one thing in the hopes that you will forget the rest:  How early did they know it was a terrorist attack and had nothing to do with a silly video?  Answer from any sane person: immediately.  Answer from them:  there was confusion, the fog of war.   But they are the ones creating the fog, not war.  And four Americans remain dead with no inquiry.

5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.  Psa 82

Armenian Genocide of 1915: An Overview
By JOHN KIFNER

On the eve of World War I, there were two million Armenians in the declining Ottoman Empire. By 1922, there were fewer than 400,000. The others — some 1.5 million — were killed in what historians consider a genocide.

As David Fromkin put it in his widely praised history of World War I and its aftermath, "A Peace to End All Peace": "Rape and beating were commonplace. Those who were not killed at once were driven through mountains and deserts without food, drink or shelter. Hundreds of thousands of Armenians eventually succumbed or were killed ."

The man who invented the word "genocide"— Raphael Lemkin, a lawyer of Polish-Jewish origin — was moved to investigate the attempt to eliminate an entire people by accounts of the massacres of Armenians. He did not, however, coin the word until 1943, applying it to Nazi Germany and the Jews in a book published a year later, "Axis Rule in Occupied Europe."

But to Turks, what happened in 1915 was, at most, just one more messy piece of a very messy war that spelled the end of a once-powerful empire. They reject the conclusions of historians and the term genocide, saying there was no premeditation in the deaths, no systematic attempt to destroy a people. Indeed, in Turkey today it remains a crime — "insulting Turkishness" — to even raise the issue of what happened to the Armenians.

In the United States, a powerful Armenian community centered in Los Angeles has been pressing for years for Congress to condemn the Armenian genocide. Turkey, which cut military ties to France over a similar action, has reacted with angry threats. A bill to that effect nearly passed in the fall of 2007, gaining a majority of co-sponsors and passing a committee vote. But the Bush administration, noting that Turkey is a critical ally — more than 70 per cent of the military air supplies for Iraq go through the Incirlik airbase there — pressed for the bill to be withdrawn, and it was.

The roots of the genocide lie in the collapse of the Ottoman Empire.

The empire's ruler was also the caliph, or leader of the Islamic community. Minority religious communities, like the Christian Armenians, were allowed to maintain their religious, social and legal structures, but were often subject to extra taxes or other measures.

Concentrated largely in eastern Anatolia, many of them merchants and industrialists, Armenians, historians say, appeared markedly better off in many ways than their Turkish neighbors, largely small peasants or ill-paid government functionaries and soldiers.

At the turn of the 20th Century, the once far-flung Ottoman empire was crumbling at the edges, beset by revolts among Christian subjects to the north — vast swaths of territory were lost in the Balkan Wars of 1912-13 — and the subject of coffee house grumbling among Arab nationalist intellectuals in Damascus and elsewhere.

The Young Turk movement of ambitious, discontented junior army officers seized power in 1908, determined to modernize, strengthen and "Turkify" the empire. They were led by what became an all-powerful triumvirate sometimes referred to as the Three Pashas.

In March of 1914, the Young Turks entered World War I on the side of Germany. They attacked to the east, hoping to capture the city of Baku in what would be a disastrous campaign against Russian forces in the Caucuses. They were soundly defeated at the battle of Sarikemish.

Armenians in the area were blamed for siding with the Russians and the Young Turks began a campaign to portray the Armenians as a kind of fifth column, a threat to the state. Indeed, there were Armenian nationalists who acted as guerrillas and cooperated with the Russians. They briefly seized the city of Van in the spring of 1915.

Armenians mark the date April 24, 1915, when several hundred Armenian intellectuals were rounded up, arrested and later executed as the start of the Armenian genocide and it is generally said to have extended to 1917. However, there were also massacres of Armenians in 1894, 1895, 1896, 1909, and a reprise between 1920 and 1923.

The University of Minnesota's Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies has compiled figures by province and district that show there were 2,133,190 Armenians in the empire in 1914 and only about 387,800 by 1922.

Writing at the time of the early series of massacres, The New York Times suggested there was already a "policy of extermination directed against the Christians of Asia Minor."

The Young Turks, who called themselves the Committee of Unity and Progress, launched a set of measures against the Armenians, including a law authorizing the military and government to deport anyone they "sensed" was a security threat.

A later law allowed the confiscation of abandoned Armenian property. Armenians were ordered to turn in any weapons that they owned to the authorities. Those in the army were disarmed and transferred into labor battalions where they were either killed or worked to death.

There were executions into mass graves, and death marches of men, women and children across the Syrian desert to concentration camps with many dying along the way of exhaustion, exposure and starvation.

Much of this was quite well documented at the time by Western diplomats, missionaries and others, creating widespread wartime outrage against the Turks in the West. Although its ally, Germany, was silent at the time, in later years documents have surfaced from ranking German diplomats and military officers expressing horror at what was going on.

Some historians, however, while acknowledging the widespread deaths, say what happened does not technically fit the definition of genocide largely because they do not feel there is evidence that it was well-planned in advance.

The New York Times covered the issue extensively — 145 articles in 1915 alone by one count — with headlines like "Appeal to Turkey to Stop Massacres." The Times described the actions against the Armenians as "systematic," "authorized, and "organized by the government."

The American ambassador, Henry Morganthau Sr., was also outspoken. In his memoirs, the ambassador would write: "When the Turkish authorities gave the orders for these deportations, they were merely giving the death warrant to a whole race; they understood this well, and in their conversations with me, they made no particular attempt to conceal the fact."

Following the surrender of the Ottoman Empire in 1918, the Three Pashas fled to Germany, where they were given protection. But the Armenian underground formed a group called Operation Nemesis to hunt them down. On March 15, 1921, one of the pashas was shot dead on a street in Berlin in broad daylight in front of witnesses. The gunman pled temporary insanity brought on by the mass killings and a jury took only a little over an hour to acquit him. It was the defense evidence at this trial that drew the interest of Mr. Lemkin, the coiner of "genocide."

Iran Says The Muslim World Must Strike Back At Israel For Gaza Attacks

Islamic countries must close ranks and respond to Israel's deadly attacks on the Gaza Strip, Iran's Defence Minister Ahmad Vahidi said on Saturday.

"Putting an end to the Zionist (Israeli) regime's crimes is only possible through a united, revolutionary retaliation by the Muslim world," Vahidi said in remarks carried by the official IRNA news agency.

1 Keep not silence, O God; hold not Your peace or be still, O God.

2 For, behold, Your enemies are in tumult, and those who hate You have raised their heads.

3 They lay crafty schemes against Your people and consult together against Your hidden and precious ones.

4 They have said, Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be in remembrance no more.

5 For they have consulted together with one accord and one heart; against You they make a covenant—

THE SONG OF MOSHEH AND THE SONG OF THE LAMB

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uv88ENKjAYE

My strength and my courage is YHWH,
And He has been my Savior.
He is my Elohim.

He is my Elohim, I praise Him,
The Elohim of my father,
I extol Him.

YHWH is a warrior.
YHWH is His name!

Your right hand, O YHWH,
Magnificent in power,
Your right hand, O YHWH,
Has shattered the enemy.

The enemy boasted,
I will pursue and overtake them;
I will divide the spoils and have my fill of them.
I will draw my sword, my hand shall despoil them.

When the wind blew, the sea covered them;
Like lead they sank in the mighty waters.

Who is like to you among the mighty ones, O YHWH?

Who is like to you, magnificent in set-apartness?
O terrible in renown.
worker of wonders,..

In your mercy, you led the people you redeemed;
In your strength, you guided them to your set-apart dwelling.
