It reminds me of this beautiful passage (the ESL matrix involving 9/11 focuses on "the falling of towers" in vs.26) from the prophet whose lips were touched with a coal from off of the altar of God.  Here, with each stroke of His arm smiting the wicked, God is beating out a rhythm for His holy ones.

Isaiah 30:25-33 (YLT)...

25 And there hath been on every high mount, And on every exalted hill, Rivulets--streams of waters, In a day of much slaughter, in the falling of towers.
26 And the light of the moon hath been as the light of the sun, And the light of the sun is sevenfold, As the light of seven days, In the day of Jehovah's binding up the breach of His people, When the stroke of its wound He healeth.

27 Lo, the name of Jehovah is coming from far, Burning is His anger, and great the flame, His lips have been full of indignation, And His tongue is as a devouring fire.
28 And His breath is as an overflowing stream, Unto the neck it divideth, To sift nations with a sieve of vanity, And a bridle causing to err, Is on the jaws of the peoples.
29 Singing is to you as in a night sanctified for a festival, And joy of heart as he who is going with a pipe, To go in to the mountain of Jehovah, Unto the rock of Israel.
30 And caused to be heard hath Jehovah The honour of His voice, And the coming down of His arm He doth shew with the raging of anger, And the flame of a consuming fire, Scattering, and inundation, and hailstone.
31 For from the voice of Jehovah broken down is Asshur, With a rod He smiteth.
32 And every passage of the settled staff, That Jehovah causeth to rest on him, Hath been with tabrets, and with harps, And in battles of shaking he hath fought with it.
33 For, arranged from former time is Tophet, Even it for the king is prepared, He hath made deep, He hath made large, Its pile is fire and much wood, The breath of Jehovah, As a stream of brim stone, is burning in it!

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Has anyone noticed that the seals open before any trumpet starts to blow?

Rev 8:1-2  And when he opened the seventh seal, there came silence in heaven about half-an-hour, and I saw the seven angels who before God have stood, and there were given to them seven trumpets.

Rev 8:6  And the seven angels having the seven trumpets prepared themselves, that they might trumpet.

If you look at the apocalypse(John's revelation) as a wheel, the seals are the rim, the various visions and declarations and prophecies are the spokes, and the revelation of Jesus at the "ephiphana" or "parousia" of Messiah is the hub.

In such a view, the trumpets and the bowls occur simultaneously, alternating towards the conclusion of the visions...... notice:

second trumpet- 1/3 sea becomes blood
second bowl- all the sea becomes blood

third trumpet- 1/3 rivers and springs become blood
third bowl- all the rivers and springs become blood

fourth trumpet -1/3 sun darkened
fourth bowl- sun scorches men with intense heat

fifth trumpet- poured on the throne of the beast they gnaw their tongues for pain
fifth bowl- Abbadon opened locusts as scorpions descend upon all who do not have the seal of God in their forheads

sixth trumpet- four angels bound at the river Euphrates released, 1/3 mankind killed by war
sixth bowl- poured out on the river Euphrates to dry it up and make it a thoroughfare for the kings of the east

seventh trumpet- in the days when the seventh trumpet is sounded the mystery of God is finished..."The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our God and His Messiah and He will rule unto the age of the ages
seventh bowl- "It is finished"

And I saw another sign in the heaven, great and wonderful, seven messengers having the seven last(eshcatos) plagues, because in these was completed(teleo-filled up discharged) the wrath of God, (Rev 15:1) This being properly translated (IMO) would indicate that the bowls are the "completing" judgments- like in a one two punch, one being the trumpet, two being the bowl.

I believe the two witnesses are calling down these plagues, trumpet (1/3) then bowl (filled up), trumpet, bowl, etc.

The timeline of the narration(regardless of whether one considers this to be literal, typological, or both) is that from the opening of the sixth seal on to the seventh all visions(the trumpets, the bowls, the two witnesses, the giant messenger, etc.) are spokes in a wheel. The parousia/ephipania of Messaih is the hub-    notice:

Seventh trumpet- "the mystery of God is finished" (Behold I show you a mystery we shall not all sleep but we shal all be changed in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet" "for the trumpet shall sound and the archangel shout")- "the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our God and His Messiah"

Seventh Bowl- "It Is Finished", every mountain leveled every island flees away, Babylon judged

Two witnesses-
These have the power to shut up the sky, so that rain will not fall during the days of their prophesying; and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire. (Rev 11:6)
And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.
(Rev 11:10)
And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here"(first ressurection, in the cloud of overcomers, archangels shout, last trumpet, meet the Lord in the air) Then they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies watched them.
(Rev 11:12)

Notice, immediately after the completion of the two witnesses course, the second woe(sixth trumpet) is past and the third(seventh trumpet) woe "comes quickly".
Rev 11:14  The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
Rev 11:15  And the seventh angel (third woe)sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

When Daniels sealed book is unsealed by the Lamb for John, we see as the seals are released, various visions of the unfolding completion of the plan for this age and glimpses in to both the "anakepholaomai" (Eph 1:10)...the "gathering into one" of all things; and the" apocastasis" (Acts 3:19) ...the restitution of all things (Rev 5:13 Rev 21:5,6). I personally believe the apocalypse that Jesus gave to John is both literal -towards the foreknown history of the end of the times(chronos) and seasons(kairos) of this age(aion)- and typological, revealing eternal truths always active in the NOW of the I AM-even as Daniels former revelation was also both literal and eternal(time transcending Now/I AM truth).

When the "Mystery of God is finished" as it speaks concerning the seventh trumpet- the lid will have been taken off, the veil torn so to speak, for all the world, concerning the purpose of the sons of God, which is the reconciliation of all things(Romans 8:19-30), which will be completed in the ages to come(Eph 2:7)-but not as a mystery. It will be completed as the open declared administration of God (Eph 1:9,10). Paul refers to this mystery in his epistles, especially Ephesians and Colossians. (Eph 1:9,10; 3:3,4,9; 6:19 & Colossians 1:16-27 & Romans 11:32-36; 16:25,56). When the parousia/epiphania/apocalupto/musterion of Christ is fulfilled at the end of this age(in the DAY/NOW/I AM of God it is already finished....and we are seeing it in the eye of faith, upon whom the ends of the age have come in Christ), the veil over heavens will be rolled away(all men will see the purpose of God), the sign of the son of man will appear in the heavens(all men will see the Lordship/throne of Yashua Moschaich).

Some perspectives on the view from eternity into time and vice versa:

Understanding Time as it is penetrated by, and eventually swallowed by, eternity:

In every generation (genea) God has those who are receiving
seasons(kairos) of refreshing from the presence of the Lord, whom the heavens must recieve until the
times(chronos) of the restitution(apocastasis) of all things which shall be universally unveiled at the
revelation(epiphania/apocalupsis) of Messiah which is his coming(erchomai/parousia), when the veil that is in the heavens will be torn for all(all men shall see...."And I shall remove the veil that covers all people). The Mystery is Finished. At that time, the beginning of the next age, the nation of sons, the kingdom of priests, will begin in full power the "restitution of all things" under the guidance of the Lord Jesus.

We are His called out ones (ecclessia), having been reconciled, and having been made to understand the "mystery"(musterion)(Eph 1:9,10 Romans 16:25,26):

That God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself
That Christ brought the "word of reconciliation", and that He has enlisted His children to mature into sons that He can "entrust" with the "ministry of reconciliation".(Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the sons of God)
That the whole creation will be set free from futility into the "glorious liberty" of the sons of God
"For so it pleased the Father to make all the fulness dwell in Him, and having made peace through the blood of His cross, to reconcile all things unto Himself, whether things on earth or in heaven."

This is the mystery, the hidden wisdom we speak among the mature, the purpose of God from before the foundation of the ages.

"For who has known the mind of the Lord, and who has been His counselor, and who has given to Him that He should repay, for from Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be the glory throughout the ages"

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard nor has t entered into the mind of man what God has prepared for those who love Him, but to us it is revealed it by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches even the deep things of God. For who knows the thoughts of a man but the Spirit of the man that is in him, and in the same way no one knows the thoughts of God but the Spirit."

But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
(Eph 2:4-10)

In all wisdom and insight He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, to the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory. (Eph 1:8-12)

Others have labored, we have entered into their labors...... Children of the Day, Awake!

 :cloud9: @ Eaglesway......I LOVE it....... :HeartThrob:

I should have added to what I said, that since it's the dealing of the Spirit, it is within our perception, simultaneous, the same as when we receive revelation from the Spirit about a scripture, and the understanding comes what seems like immediately. Hard to put into words for me......Blessings.....

Yes, Indeed....it is indeed difficult to put these things into words, and I feel continually constrained by the meanings of words, which are subjective to the hearers- that is, unless the Spirit is engaging among us and bringing us into the mind of Christ, which of course is always nested in love for the brethren and birthing peace. In that context we can grow as we speak the truth in love and edify one another.

.....speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.
(Eph 4:15-16)

Oh Yeah That's Right! Its ALL ABOUT THE LOVE OF GOD! HAHAHAHA!   :myahoo:

I've always thought the letters, seals, trumpets, and bowls were all saying the exact same thing and each one corresponding to time, length, width, and breadth, or the Church being filled with all of the fullness of God in Ephesians chapters 2 and 3.
