'Trees of life' are vital food source

This article made me think of that scripture that says, "And the leaves of the trees were for the healing of the nations."

Revelation 22:2  In the middle of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bore twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Interesting metaphors in the Bible--

We are the branches, and, as such produce fruit, but it is the leaves of the tree that heal the nations.
