I’ve written four tracts titled ” What is the Purpose of This Life and is There Life Hereafter”, ” What to do When You Know You Are Saved”, “What Kind of God is God Anyway” and ” Have You Heard About the Better Gospel?”. I mailed them to Gerry Beauchemin at his request the other day and will gladly mail them to you as well. I guess I’ll find your address on your website somewhere, right?
On rainy days I go to the mall to walk and hand out tracts to people when I see someone sitting with a blank stare on their face. I have to admit though that 95% of the time folks are buried in their I-phones either talking to someone or playing some kind of game on it. I haven’t given those folks a tract yet because I think that they would be interrupted by my doing so and would be less likely to read what I have to give them because of my “intrusion”. Maybe I should still take the risk and try to give them one but my approach has always been the “soft sell” to not offend. But I know what you mean, Gary, by this piece that you’ve written. I especially hate it when I see folks texting while driving. There have been some pretty bad auto accidents because of this bad habit by some.
I’m curious what kind of tracts you give out?
I will post a comment ….as soon as i’ve finished texting….lol!
AMEN BROTHER!!!! But it does have it’s good points too….
