Do you remember, in church, singing the old hymn "There Is Power In The Blood?" I remember as a little boy sitting on those old benches in our little church singing; "There is power, power wonder working power in the precious blood of the Lamb."

As Andrae Crouch wrote in his great song, the Blood will never lose its Power. I am convinced, more then ever, that if we are going to make it in this perilous time we live in, we must know and stand on the power of Jesus' blood!

1 John 1:7 reads; . "the blood of Jesus, God's Son, cleanses us from every sin." Heb 10:19 says; . "now we may walk right into the very Holy of Holies, where God is, because of the blood of Jesus." Revelation 12:11 tells us;." They defeated the devil by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony."

We must never take the blood out of our songs, our hearts and our homes. The Blood of Jesus is the only power to take away our sins - and the only power that brings us into the Holies of Holies, the very presence of God! And the Blood is the power that gives you the ability to defeat the devil! Grandma always said, "When your afraid, plead the blood of Jesus as Satan cannot come through the blood."

Jesus told us in I Corinthians, chapter eleven that we are to remember His broken body and His shed blood, the price He paid on the cross for our sins, until He comes back.

I do not know about you but we have been in Spiritual warfare lately! Lori and I and our staff decided its time to start pleading the Blood of Jesus over these battles. And victory began to break loose in our ministry the very next day. Shipments came in that we have been waiting months for, the new retreat center at Morningside had victories and its development is proceeding full speed ahead. God wants to break through for you in the same way!

The next day, after the staff marched around inside our ministry center and pleaded the blood of Jesus over the staff and ministry, within hours an unbelievable miracle took place. Armando walked up to me with a videotape in his hands and said, "Jim, I found the lost video tape of you at the excavation dig that you sponsored twenty-five years ago in the Holy Land at the place where Jesus was crucified".

I could not believe it - years ago someone had taken all my tapes from PTL, every tape and show I had ever recorded in my entire life long ministry were in the hands of other people and I knew it would be impossible for that tape to get from their locked storage to a shelf in our ministry center. But there it was, I began to weep as I could not hold back the tears - another miracle through pleading the Blood!

The miracle gets bigger! At that very moment Richard Rives, head archaeologist of Wyatt Archaeology Expeditions, was working in that very dig shown on that videotape, that we had sponsored twenty-five years ago in Jerusalem .
