The Worship of Man

By Gary Amirault

I feel it is appropriate to insert this small article right here in the midst of the article on King James. I do not like to do these kind of articles. But it seems so many people are being brought into bondage by these King James fundamentalists that I felt something needed to be said.

King James loved to be worshipped. Many of those who did worship him, he made rich at the expense of the poor. He believed in the "Divine right of the king." As far as he was concerned, he was God on earth and should be worshipped as such and be given absolute authority.

There are those in society who desire to be worshipped and there are those who because of a fear of a personal encounter with the Lord of All, gladly accept a substitute image to worship. Do you remember when the children of Israel were going to have a one on one with God Himself? You would think they would be thrilled to meet the Head of everything. Most people would love to be invited to the White House. But look at the reaction of Israel, when God wanted to speak with them.

"Then they said to Moses, 'You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.'" (Ex. 20:19)

My purpose in exposing all of these false gods from King James, to founders of denominations like Martin Luther and John Calvin, to men and women today who will gladly act as your intermediary to God for a price, is to get you to stop worshipping death. Moses is dead, so is King James, Martin Luther and John Calvin.

Our Father is not so busy that He does not have the time to be personal with you. He is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and Truth.

Stand up and meet your Maker face to face. Hear Him and live. Why do you seek the Living One among the dead? Worship the Living One and live!

Surely He gives gifts of men and women, some hands and mouths are truly anointed to impart spiritual things, but will you worship the gift or the Gift-giver?
